"8-15-2024 - Frank Porras (the Father) came out around 1:00pm to view job and give estimate. 8-16-2024 - received email with estimate Invoice # INV001 from Frank (son) we verbally agreed on 9-23-2024 to 9-25-2024. 9-16-2024 - gave check for $1000.00 for materials, he gave a verbal guarantee of 5 years with the direct-to-metal paint they are using. 9-23-2024 - Frank (son) showed around 12:00 pm hosed off porch (did not have a power washer). Left around 1:30 or so. did not return for the day. 9-24-2024 - Frank (son) text they would be here at 10:00, showed at 10:30, Taped most of concrete, sanded, left around 11:25 for lunch? came back sanded till 2ish. Left for day. 9-25-2024 - showed at 9:48 covered wall upstairs, started painting, had to ask them to cover downstairs patio door due to overspray (they weren't going to do it, I insisted) took off not sure what time, came back painted some more. At 2:00pm they Informed me they would be back tomorrow, be here all day and finish painting and left. I hastily had to cancel an appointment for the next day and luckily did not have to pay a cancelation fee! 9-26-2024 - Frank (son & father) showed at 9:33 taped off some things , painted again, took off at around 12:30 returned somewhere around 1:15 cleaned up, threw most of trash in my trash. I gave a quick inspection as the paint was still tacky. Initial inspection it looked good. Gave the remaining balance of $2000.00. They left around 1:55. With Frank returning on the 26th, it disrupted the renter I have, making his day difficult. 9-28-2024 - was putting patio furniture back and notice some paint pieces. When I picked it up, it was attached and peeled off ! 9-29-2024 - text Frank (son) pictures and what had happened. He text back that he would be out Monday at 10:00. 10-1-2024 - Texted Frank (son) ay 10:52 to see if he was coming, he text back he was out of town on a job. 10-2-2024 - 10:55 am Frank (son) called said he could be here Monday 7th at 10:00 am. 10-7-2024 - 8:10 am, Frank text his daughter was ill and would not make it out, possibly Wednesday. 10-9-2024 - 10:39am text Frank to inquire if he was coming out. No response. 10-10-2024 - 12:00 pm called left message. " Hi Frank, this Kathy Landry, can you please reach out and let me know when you will be able to come out and fix patio. Thank you." No response. 10-11-2024 - 9:07 am called again and left message again. "Frank, this is Kathy Landry, calling to see when you can come fix the patio. This is the last time I'm reaching out. Also called the number his father Frank used no response there either. No response. I have been courteous and professional all our dealings. I have pictures of the area that did not get prepped properly."

"You should probably add 4-6 weeks to the expected delivery date if you expect to need the "enclosed" hardware. I received the blinds in the estimated time, but it came without the required hardware. I have made 4 calls (at least) over several weeks, but the hardware is nowhere in site. It is clear that SelectBlinds.com is a marketing company only has outsourced all production and fulfillment to third parties and evidently has a difficult time coordinating these type of customer service issue. Extremely frustrating that my blinds have been sitting in the floor for over a month and all I need is a few screws. Happy to go to Home Depot to get the screws, but SelectBlinds can't even tell me what sizes I need."

"Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors."
