"My foundation work involved both outside and inside piers. Inside there were jackhammers, lifting with bottle jacks, welding, and concrete work. The mess was kept to a minimum. Accurate used steel piers to reach bedrock. Concrete piers would not, a real selling feature. Just finished a few days ago, but overall the house is much better."

"04-02-2025: Olshan was very expert from the beginning to completion. Including initial evaluation, navigating choices, quoting, scheduling, implementation, post measurement & cleanup. Tunneling is chosen over concrete break out in the living spaces: this choice worked out well with these considerations: no upset / moving (or move out), no storage rental, customer time & labor needed. For this 1977 3-2-2, discovery is made in both the sewer & water lines: the 50 YO cast iron pipes failed a pressure test & tunneling reveals pinholes in the hot & cold water lines. Partnered w/ Olshan was KMP Plumbing, all of which were successful in leveling the foundation, replacing sewer & water lines. The contractors were all very nice and made sure the house stayed clean and everything got done correctly and exactly how I wanted. We did a lot of things that were a bit unusual (a bookcase Murphy door, secret trap door in one room) and never had any complaints.
