"Jonathan, the Texas Eco-Plumber, was a pleasure to work with. He communicated regularly through the Angi app, text messages and phone. I always knew where we stood in the process from estimate to completed work. He has excellent customer service and communication skills, which I truly appreciate. When we met in person, it was evident that he is just a "great guy" and I was happy to trust him with my plumbing work."

"The were able to react quickly to a plumbing leak and get me sorted the same day. They did a good inspection, told me how the drainage system was set up and were able to scope the lines to determine whether there was a break in any of them. They then fixed the problem (bad wax ring) and get things working right very quickly. They even re-caulked the base of the toilet, something I was expecting to have to do myself."

"Great. The plumber, Darrell Kresta, with John Moore, took the toilet lid off and knew in 2 seconds what needed to be done, after 2 others couldn’t completely fix. The chain needed to be shortened and the flap (which was wrong size) was replaced."

"I received the referral from Fergusons near FM 2920.  Followed that up with reviews from Angies List.  Granite countertops/vanities were being installed on a specific date (which got moved up) and I needed a plumber to install sinks, faucets and replace valves on at least one of the vanities so that we had one working bathroom. They also installed two new toilets.   Click's was unable to put me on the schedule, but they referred me to a couple of other plumbers.  I called and used Fred with Payless Plumbing.  They did an excellent job.  They were very professional in that they provided me with a pre-printed rate sheet of exactly how much each item would cost to install (parts and labor, separate).  Thank you to Clicks for the referral.  I called several plumbers before Clicks and half did not even call me back.

"Shawn was very professional and explained what he needed to do and also provided advice on how I might be able to prevent this problem from occurring again. The job took about 1 hour.
A mild irritant was paying $75 for approx 1/2 gallon of a chemical with enzymes that helps to clear my drains.  I couldn't help but feeling like I was paying quite a premium for this liquid,
The job to snake the bathroom sink line was $225.  Perhaps that's the current rate and, if so, okay...then grade in this category could possibly be an A.  But I still took a deep breath and paid it. They were the only ones who could come out the same day that I called.

Toilets questions, answered by experts

When working on your bathroom floor tiling, you should always tile the floor first and then refit the toilet afterward. This has both practical and visual advantages—the tile will have a better seal, and the installation will look cleaner.

On the other hand, when you try to cut the tiles to fit around the toilet, you’re putting yourself at a disadvantage. It’s a lot more work, it’s hard to be precise, and mistakes or miscalculations can lead to future moisture damage to the tiling, grout, and subfloor.

Usually it’s fine to leave a toilet clogged overnight, as long as it’s not close to overflowing. In some cases, the extra time may give the clog time to work itself out. For example, if it’s caused by an excess of toilet paper, letting it sit could result in the clog dissolving and you may be able to simply flush it away by the time you wake up.

Only let it sit though if you have more than one toilet in the home.

Yes, a toilet, sink, and shower can share the same vent. This is a common installation method that can simplify plumbing and save space. However, there are important considerations. The vent and associated plumbing must be large enough to handle the demands of all fixtures without compromising the vent's effectiveness. Additionally, the toilet should always be located downstream of all other fixtures. Because requirements can vary and space might be limited, it is essential to check your local building and plumbing codes and consult with a qualified plumber to ensure the installation is done correctly.

Yes, frozen pipes can cause a toilet to stop working correctly. If the pipes are frozen, water cannot flow, which can lead to two main problems. First, the supply line to the toilet tank may be frozen, which prevents the tank from refilling with water after you flush. Second, the drain pipe itself can freeze, blocking water from flushing away. As a temporary solution for a non-refilling tank, you can manually add water, but this is not a long-term fix. To clear a frozen drain pipe, you can try pouring warm water into the toilet bowl or tank and then flushing, as the warm water may help thaw the ice blockage. Ultimately, the best course of action is to unfreeze the affected pipes to restore your toilet to full functionality.

If you need to repair part of your plumbing, it will cost an average of $330. The cost of plumbing repairs is influenced by several factors, including the type of drain and the specific repair needed.
