"Mr. Luis Reyes responded very quickly. After having several others come out he was the only one to check everything and explained in detail what needed to be done. All others wanted to add or replace different things. Static cleaned and serviced everything and after making an adjustment to something in the attic our AC has never cooled better and is even quieter now. "Fantastic. Noticed when I got home from work one evening that the first story of my home was not cool. AC had been on all day, but air temp was 78 degrees. I called Cooling Technicians and Adam came to diagnose the problem the next morning. His troubleshooting was very thorough and the problem was quickly isolated to a faulty compressor. I received a fair quote for the parts and labor, gave the okay, and they were ordered and installed. "After discovering mold growing out of one of our vents, we used Angie's List to call 5 companies for quotes. TakeAir was the only company that took several pictures of the vent and actual AC unit. Avi sat and talked with my husband and I about the problem, explained our options, and pricing, including warranties. They had the longest warranties for their services, which gave use the impression that they back their work. We scheduled with them on Thanksgiving (yes, they were available for us to contact with any questions). They came out Sunday and worked diligently from 10:30am-3pm. They covered our furniture and belongings to ensure that it wouldn't get dirty. They took our vents off and washed them, cleaned the boxes, intakes, ducts and unit. After washing, they sanitized and installed the UV light system to prevent the problem from occurring again. They cleaned up afterwards. The smell of our house is wonderful after they used their organic solution. We are extremely pleased from the initial call, schedule for quote, questions, schedule for job, and actual job. "We have been thinking about cleaning our Air Ducts the last few years but got adviced not to do it by our Air Con Serviceman. It seemed to come out a lot of very fine powder dust from our registers so I started an extensive search for information and Air Duct Cleaning Services. It is like a Jungle out there....a lot of different companies and big variety in prices...and Service. A wide stretch between companies cleaning about everything and specialists just focusing on Air Duct Cleaning. In the end I had 5 companies and invited each of them to come and check out our system and condition and give me a quote. 3 of them said it was unnecessary and gave me price over the phone per Unit, per register or a combination. One of the 2 coming to our house was Colton Kitzman from Green Ducts Decontamination. He walked through the whole system with me and explained the whole process, equipment etc. in detail. Colton grew up in a family with Air Con Installations and Air Duct Service as daily topic so he knows the systems inside out and he is only doing Air Duct Cleaning, Certified by NADCA and following their protocol 100% as well as being insured. I got a very good impression of him, his company and work ethic etc. He came yesterday morning together with his brother and with great respect for our home and very systematic, they set up the equipment and prepared each of the registers, portable vacuum cleaner (with multiple high efficiency filters) which took a long time. They worked the whole day here and informed me about the different steps during the process. In the end they vacuumed and inspected all the areas and made sure everything was placed back to its original place. A very impressing and clean process to get all the collected dust 7 debris out of the system. They also cleaned the Dryer duct and Dryer for lint, and despite we always empty the lint filter, there was a lot in the duct. It is recommended to clean the Air Ducts every 5-7 years and the Dryer duct every 2 years. If you are interested to get more information, please don't hesitate to contact me.
