"Tech was great. Disappointed that my new Trane HVAC experienced a sensor problem after only two weeks. The new system, however, is more technically sophisticated than the one installed in 2012."

"Professional staff from the initial phone call all the way through installing a complete new HVAC system in my home the next day. I have had numerous bad companies over the last few years, so dealing with Four seasons was a complete breath of fresh air. I would highly recommend this company for any type of HVAC issues you might have. Completely trust worthy and honest!!"

"Just when I thought I had already received a train of perfection HVAC services from Rescue Air Heating Cooling (and Plumbing), yes they raised the bar even higher. Today, repair expert, consultant, and general impresario Mr. Roman Arnold diagnosed, repaired, and rescued my older but wiser and otherwise excellent HVAC system from a state of non-function and he did this in only a few minutes, getting right to the heart of the matter fast. This did not surprise me only because my experiences with TEAM Rescue Air consistently demonstrated highest technical expertise, experience, sound practical judgement, kindness, consideration, listening skill sets, and representing clientâ s best interests. Thank you so very much Rescue Air for sending Mr. Roman Arnold for todayâ s â Rescue.â He is so experienced and expert, it is like he invented air conditioning. It was a good thing for me when I selected my new HVAC company that I landed at Rescue Air Heating and Cooling. I am a client/customer situated in North Dallas."

"They did a great job installing our new furnace and air conditioner. Very professional and courteous. They were an hour late getting to our house for the install and we understand that happens. It would have been nice if they would have notified us. All and all, satisfied with the work."

"Jake is definitely good at what he does. When he stopped by ours to inspect the HVAC, he answered most of my questions satisfactorily. His diagnostic showed the unit to be performing ok and no repair work was needed. I 100% recommend him for your HVAC project."

"TeamEnoch work quality and cost were the best. Installation Evan and Richard took care everything much better than I expected. I have had American Home Shield who assigned several different contactors to fix my HVACs. Their (AHS contractors) work quality was poor (I would rate them as 2-star the most). I highly recommend TeamEnoch for HVAC work. In fact I will hire them again to install the 2nd HVAC for my house in the near future."

"This review is about integrity and true customer service. David called me and guessed that the solution to my problem was to simply turn the HVAC switch in the attic from off to on. After spending $250 with other guys, all it took was one 2 minute phone call and he solved my problem over the phone. This means that David has real expertise and an attitude of true customer service. I've been in customer service for decades, and this is the kind of employee and company that has really got it all together for customers. This is why I'll always use this company and recommend them to everyone. Ask for David when you call. Thank you for saving me loads of time and further money!"

"Sheldon was the technician that serviced my HVAC . He was thorough with finding where the problem was, showed and explained exactly what I needed and why I needed it. He also told me of what could occur if the part wasnâ t replace . He was very informative, knowledgeable , and sweet . I will specifically ask for him every time. This was his second time at my property , both times excellent work . Thank you"

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

Running an air conditioner with mold is not safe because it can spread harmful mold spores throughout your home. Exposure to these spores can trigger various health problems, including respiratory issues, allergies, coughing, wheezing, sneezing, itchy eyes, and a sore throat. It may also aggravate asthma in household members. Continued exposure can increase the risk of more serious illnesses like sinus infections, pneumonia, and bronchitis. If you suspect mold in your air conditioner, you should stop using the system until it has been properly cleaned to avoid health risks and further contamination.

To keep a window air conditioner in good working order, you should clean the filter regularly, inspect the seals, and store the unit properly during the off-season.

While 72 degrees is a comfortable setting for many people, it’s likely not the most efficient temperature setting for your air conditioning unit. By pushing the temperature up to 75 or 78 degrees, you stand to save money on your energy bill. That said, these temperatures may be too warm to be comfortable for some people and are definitely too warm for most people to sleep comfortably.

Most units are designed only to cool the house down to 20 degrees less than the temperature outside. This means that if it’s 99 degrees Fahrenheit out and you’re trying to cool your home down to 65 degrees, you’ll notice your AC is struggling.

Lower the blinds on all your windows, turn on your ceiling fans, and keep the thermostat at a consistent temperature to help your AC do its job. Investing in an HVAC maintenance plan also helps because pros will come out to inspect and tune up your unit regularly, keeping it in optimal working condition.

Yes, it’s best to turn off an AC unit that’s blowing hot air to prevent system damage and avoid expensive energy bills. If you let the AC continue running, it will put more strain on the condenser coil and compressor. Plus, if the AC is blowing hot air because of a refrigerant leak, it can also lead to a frozen evaporator coil.
