"Found Jamie C Flooring on Angi and called them for a quote. They were able to quote job within 48 hours of requesting. They found the type of wood we were looking for immediately (and in stock), and were able to complete the job in one day. They did an outstanding job. "Abe and his crew came in and renovated my bathroom making it more ADA compliant. I had a huge lip on my shower which was busted out so it?s level with the floor now. They installed a shower bench with multiple grab bars. The flooring has texture which has grip which will help prevent slippery surfaces. They repainted the walls and got rid of the popcorn ceiling."

"Juan with PROMASTER Floors and his crew did a Outstanding job at my home they were on time and worked late. They cleaned whatever trash or debris that had accumulated through out the job. I had water damage to my subfloor in the kitchen. Juan and Julio his project manager on-site replaced my entire subfloor in the kitchen and added ceramic tile. The finished kitchen looks GREAT. I also had the wood floors in my living areas rescinded and refinished. The wood floors look AMAZING like night day. I highly recommend Juan with PROMASTER FLOORS."

"Experience was perfect. Alan and his team made the whole process very easy. The floor is gorgeous and we love it. The tile work and placement was impeccable in an odd-shaped space. The estimate for the amount of tile needed was so close that I ended up with less than a half a box of tile left over."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

Some root cellars are made with concrete, but a dirt floor may be better for your crops' longevity. Dirt can help maintain an appropriate temperature and humidity level, while the concrete might suck up all the moisture. Dirt floors can also bring down the overall cost of your root cellar. But, if you’re going with a dirt floor, make sure you properly insulate between your house and the root cellar.

DIY installation is challenging; professionals ensure proper fitting, adhesive application, and long-term durability.

Each flooring material has its own maintenance requirements and cleaning techniques. For example, hardwood floors may require occasional refinishing and specialized cleaning products, while vinyl and laminate are easy to clean with regular sweeping and mopping. Concrete and natural stone, on the other hand, may need periodic sealing to maintain their appearance and durability. Follow manufacturer recommendations and utilize appropriate cleaning methods to preserve the integrity of your chosen flooring material.

A laminate floor will lift if it hasn’t been installed with the proper expansion gaps around the room’s perimeter. Laminate flooring naturally expands and contracts when indoor temperatures fluctuate, and without adequate room for expansion, the planks can lift off the subfloor. To avoid this, ensure your flooring installer knows to leave the proper expansion gaps.

Laminate flooring takes about 24 to 48  hours to settle. Before this, planks are not completely acclimated to your home, and walking on them could cause shifting and permanent damage to the flooring. You should allow floorboards to acclimate for 48 to 72 hours before installing so that they can adjust to your home’s humidity and temperature levels, but they will continue to acclimate and settle after installation. For this reason, avoid placing any furniture in the room for 72 hours after installation.

Your floors will continue to settle for a few months after installation, becoming less bouncy as they rest.
