"Although it was a Sunday, Aire Serv just charges their regular assessment fee (no extra after hours fees applied). Aire Serv was able to get a technician out the same day AND fix my AC unit issue (already had the replacement part on hand - talk about being prepared)! Aire Serv also has this great courtesy service where they send a picture of your technician (for safety purposes), so you’ll know who to expect at your home. They also offer an EXCELLENT maintenance plan that I jumped on right away. Matthew, my technician, was the best! And they even let you note on your account when you have a preferred technician you’d like (which I, of course, listed as Matthew). I not only found a service provider to fix my current repair need, but also one that I can trust to meet all my future HVAC maintenance/repair needs. Thanks Aire Serv! :-)"

"I purchased a $21 Groupon, with a stated value of around $400. The first thing Tommy, the owner, said when he walked into my home is that he smelled mold (this was before he even looked in my vents). He opened one vent and got a "special" flashlight out to "highlight" the mold. He stated he could spray a mold treatment in all of my vents for the low, low price of $400. He even said his company would be liable if I got a respiratory infection and he hadn't sprayed for mold. I knew I was getting scammed at this point, but I was tired of his pushy attitude and BS. He did a lousy job of cleaning my 9 air vents. I could still see debris down in the air ducts after he left. He sprayed something that smelled like lemon- scented air freshener, then left. He did not clean my clothes dryer vent as I had paid for. A friend that used to work for a similar company said the "special" spray is nothing more than a product similar to Lysol. He also said in the southern US, every residential and commercial air vent will have some harmless mold present due to the humid climate. The bottom line is buyer beware. Dont be drawn in by a cheap Groupon or Living Social offer. I left a review for his service on Groupon, but it was removed. These companies make money by convincing you to buy other expensive products (like "special" filters) and services. I can't speak for all air duct cleaning companies, but I definitely got scammed by Premier Air Duct Cleaning in Nashville, TN. NOTE: There is no address or zip code listed on their website. Tommy (owner) stated he would email a receipt for services, but I never received it (spam/junk folder checked)."
