This company is dishonest! Hired 2 Brothers to install Christmas lights on my front roof. James McColgan, owner quoted $1500 which included the lights, removing them with an option for 2 Brothers to store the lights if I was interested. Unfortunately, 2 Brothers were not prepared to install lights on my highest roof pitch so the service total was $1,200. Also, I was offered a 10% discount on the services to use them next year, and for each year I chose to use their company the price would go down. After install, I sent a text to James requesting a paid invoice or contract, along with something in writing explaining their terms/conditions and everything I was offered. To date, I have not receive a response. I contacted 2 Brother's to have lights removed and received a date of Jan 4th but they couldn't give a time. I advised James that I needed to be home to get the lights, as I decided not to store with them. I also, expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of lights. They were dated (large old bulbs vs. modern or LED). I witnessed them unraveling lights from a reel that had different color bulbs attached that appeared used. James claimed they were not. Long story short, James told me that I could not have the lights because they were property of their company. I gasped! James told me that I paid $1,200 to rent the lights. Renting was never discussed and I would not have agreed to that. My current Landscaper quoted $1000 including lights that I would keep but their install date didn't work. James was dishonest and insulting to try convincing me that he discussed renting lights with me. I told James that my $1200 and their 3 hours labor paid for the lights and asked him not to come on my property. James said he was coming to my house and would bring police if he had to. I was extremely threatened therefore, filed a police report today to try getting protection. This is one of the most horrible experiences that I have ever had doing business with anyone! Total bait & switch! I would not recommend doing business with this company. Noticed they have good reviews but perhaps the people he treated well didn't look like me, a black woman. For some reason I feel that I was not valued like his other customers.

I asked him to remove all the old mulch, I had removed all the flowers and shrubs; he put the fabric over the old mulch, did not try and level/smooth the flower beds, and put down mulch on top. Planted a few shrubs/flowers. Not sure if he knows much about the landscape. I wanted what I wanted but he insisted since my neighbors had such and such that I should too. Very disappointed.

Reliable, accountable, and prompt service. James is a hardworking guy and I would definitely recommend them.
