Awful this is my third review because he still won’t fix anything. This is2021 i bought it in 2014 and started having trouble two weeks after I bought it. The doors are out of plumb now. The sheet rock installed by David Gentry drywall is falling off the wall. Walls and ceiling are cracking and fall away. The grout in the tile I falling out ,the wood floors are 2nds and has large cracks which was filled with putty which came out. The counters were not leveled or plumbed and are sinking. He used cardboard baseboard in the kitchen and bath which come apart when they get wet. The concrete on my driveway is cracking and flaking and there is cracks in my garage floors and wall and ceiling and walls .He stopped answering his phone when I tried to tell him about the problems. He would not make anything right so now I have to pay out of my retirement savings to have everything fixed .he cobbled up and half done then job right. Please stay away from this builder and hire someone who knows what the are doing

Far too expensive. I am at fault for not doing my due diligence in getting the required three or more estimates.

Could't get past their funky sales process. They wanted money up front...$500 and then additional $2000 for plans that we could get elsewhere the a third of the cost. Then their budget for our home was riddled with errors. They refused to do a site evaluation unless we ponied up the $2000. Felt like I was at a used car dealership. Couldn't get them to commit to an estimate unless we spent more time and more money. Then you can't back out because you don't want to lose the $2500 and you have zero control over the cost. My wife and I feel like we were sucker punched! Unethical. If I were you I'd pass on these folks.

We did not use Chad because we decided not to purchase the home that needed the remodel. But Chad was extremely thorough, detail-oriented, and professional. We would definitely call him again.

It was a good experience. They helped us out a lot. They fulfilled their contractual requirements. They were pretty responsive to our needs and our questions. On punctuality, being that all the rain that was going on put them behind; if it wasn't for the rain they would have been done on time. We even actually referred them to other people.

Everything was completed on time and in a very professional manner. It is now exciting to go to the house to see the progress and we look forward to finishing the job with Tyrone. He has been very helpful with suggestions and the pricing is reasonable. We paid in steps and each bill included receipts for materials and labor. We couldn't be happier.

OUTSTANDING WORK! EACH SKILLED TRADE ARRIVED ON DAY SCHEDULED. HIS CREW WAS VERY GOOD ABOUT CLEANING UP AT END OF DAY. TYLER , HIS RIGHT HAND MAN PERFORMED OUT STANDING JOB. SEVERAL ITEMS NEEDED ADJUSTMENTS WHEN JOBS WERE FINISHED. JUST CALLED TIM. HE SENT WORKMAN TO FIX THE PROBLEM. EVEN 2 OR 3 MONTHS AFTER JOB COMPLETED. WOULD RECOMMEND TIM AND HIS STAFF FOR ANY JOB INVOLVING REMODELING OR HOME BUILDING. TIM PERFORMED AND IS PERFORMING WORKS OF CHARITY IN THIS AREA. FEEL VERY LUCKY MY NEIGHBOR RECOMMENDED HIM. THE WORK SHOWS HIGH LEVEL OF SKILL PUT IN TO IT. VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB WHICH SHOWS. I THINK IF YOUR BATHS ARE REPLACED THEN THE SAME COMPANY IS CONTACTED TO REMODEL THE KITCHEN TO THE SAME EXTENT, SATISFACTION IS DISPLAYED . AFTER KITCHEN COMPLETED TIM REMAINS FIRST PERSON I WILL CALL IN THE FUTURE FOR HELP. I CERTAINLY CAN NOT SAY THIS ABOUT ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS WORKED FOR ME. TIM IS ALSO HOME BUILDER. IF NEW HOME IS IN YOUR FUTURE GIVE TIM A CALL AT 423-956-1364

  • CIFERS BACKHOE SVC

Had no success at first to get someone to take the job as most contractors didn't answer phone or would not return calls. Cifers backhoe was referred to us by a plumber who did respond but later dropped out of the project. Septic tank was wedged in between swimming pool and the house, with a hot tub sitting over it. Moved hot tub to expose septic tank and discovered the tank to be deeper than expected. Rather than hand dig the hook up (under a fence, deck and staircase) Bill called in some associates and it was determined that digging through the workshop floor was a much smarter way to go. Rather than tearing up the decking and fence, we ended up with a dusty workshop. We were able to go down 20 inches for the line rather than 42 inches that the original plan would have needed. End result - on budget with minimal disruption of our property. in addition to being a true professional, Bill Cifers is easy to deal with and a true gentleman. We are very thankful that our paths crossed and totally recommend him for any digging projects you might have. Would definitely use him again for any jobs we have.

Jon came out the day after my phone call. Very punctual and polite. He is very professional and honest. He helped educate me in that the existing soffits could be left up and the new material placed over them. However, since they were the old style paperboard and some were deteriorated, it would be better to remove them. There was no pressure to decide either way. He left that decision entirely up to me. I did additional research I determined his assessment was correct. The limited ventilation on the old soffits restricted air flow through the attic increasing the A/C load. This will be an additional charge for removal and hauling away, but well worth it in the long run. The increase in cost is less than $500.00 He will also repair an eaves trough issue for no additional cost. I have the work scheduled for next week and will add to this review at that time. Update after job. Jonathan's crew came out on the agreed day and began work. Jon had estimated the job to be done in two to three days. On Wednesday, I noticed the crew taking overly long breaks and basically not working up to par. There was a heavy rain the next day and I did not expect them to work. They had left equipment in the yard and did not return on Friday. I made a call to Jon who came out immediately and was appalled at the work and the fact that new equipment had been left out in the rain. He told me he would be back on the Monday and insure the job was finished properly. True to his word, he came back, without the crew , and completed the job. He also re-worked several areas that were not up to his standards. Honestly, I could not see anything wrong. He also did some additional work that we had discussed but he did not charge me for it. He said that in all fairness, his crew messed up and he would insure all was right and proper. I am very pleased, not only with the job that was performed, but by the manner in which Jonathan stepped up to the plate and remained true to his word. He did an excellent job on this job and I am going to use him again on another job early next year.

I am a new home owner and I noticed some water damage in the corner of my basement. Turns out the previous homeowner had the downspout dumping into the basement. Fixed the downspot and no new water damage. So I removed the drywall so that I ocyld replace it and found termites. Stripped down all the drywall in basement and had basement treated (see other review for termite treatment). I called and received estimates for repair work. Shannon was very prompt, friendly, and professional. He listened to what I wanted, and then described in detail how the repair would be made. I had absolute confidence that he knew what he was doing. Furthermore, when I check his proposed techniques out with online forums they were exactly what the pro recommended. The only problem was the price was more than I was willing to pay for repairing the basement at this time. I am going to slowly replace the insulation, re-do the wiring, and do the framing myself to save money. Not sure how long that will take.
