I have used Blue Ridge Plumbing for many years. They helped me on a Saturday with a broken water line on a commercial building. They were the only company to respond to me on a Saturday when the temps were very cold. I never stopped using them from then on and have referred them to many friends and family members. They do a great job, come when they say they will and do the job right the first time. Mike and Levi or one of the other knowledgeable staff will take good care of you.

Mike and his staff did a WONDERFUL job for us. We initially met him when he was sent to install a water heater, and he pointed out a number of things that were installed incorrectly. (We suspected this already since the over flow tank and piping looked so awful). We were also having problems with blockage and back up at the kitchen sink. He installed everything beautifully, corrected the problems and showed up on time and when he said he would. They did extensive work and the price was reasonable. His staff was also professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. We hope to install a free standing dishwasher next, and Mike at Blue Ridge Plumbing will be our first and only call. Blue Ridge Plumbing came and assessed the situation. They had originally installed the water heater years earlier for the previous owner. They determined the water heater needed replacing. They contacted the Water Heater Manufacturer and handled all of the warranty issues. Water heater had a 15 year warranty. I was the new owner and did not know that. They secured the heater and had it installed in a few hours.

Mike made a special trip after hours and was incredibly professional and just a nice guy. The price was well worth the labor. As a matter of fact, my wife said that was the best $230 we have spent on this house. I would hire him again and recommend him to my friends without hesitation.

They came within 24 hours. It went very well!

Very professional, honest, punctual, and fair in pricing.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a plumber.

While I was attempting to check and see what was hindering my toilet from flushing I disconnected the bolts securing the toilet to the floor and when I slid the toilet a little the water line broke and water was gushing into the master bathroom. Not knowing how to stop the water I called Appalachian plumbing and was walked through finding where the main water cutoff was located( I would've never found it and can't believe they knew where to look without being at my house as it was behind an outside vent in my foundation behind my house). After getting the water cutoff and cleaned up(there was a Lot of water), I was really surprised and very glad at how fast the plumber got to my house to fix it. It turned out to be a fast fix and Mike(the plumber) was super nice and looked and acted like a real professional. Not only was my water back on super quick(glad to get a shower that evening) but I even was given a couple tips on how to handle any future breaks and helped more than with just the problem at hand. Glad to see someone who enjoys what he does and helping others, I Highly recommend and will use this company with anything plumbing I need in the future

I called Mike Lunsford at Blue Ridge Plumbing to fix several plumbing issues we had at the house. We had good luck with him when he fixed our hot water tank so I called him again. We needed the kitchen faucet fixed, a shower faucet fixed, a toilet fixed, an outside faucet fixed and another shower fixed. I thought there was enough work to keep him busy for awhile.
I called and left a message but he did not return my call.  I called again a few days later and he said his "partner"  Kevin Brown could probably do the work. He said he would have Kevin call us. Kevin never called. I call Mike a few days later and he gave me Kevin's phone number so I could call him directly. I called Kevin and he said he had "forgot " to call us. But we made an appointment for him to come to the house a couple days later. I called Kevin the next day to remind him that he would need to bring a copy of his insurance. The day of the appointment Kevin never showed.
I called Kevin and got voice mail, so I called Mike to see what had happened with the appointment. Mike said Kevin had called him and said he would not be able to do the work. I complained to Mike that neither he of Kevin had called us to let us know he was not coming. I told him that our time was just a valuable as his and I did not appreciate waiting around for someone who was not going to show. I also told Mike that it reflected badly on him since he recommended Kevin.
Anyway, Mike said he would come do the work for us and we set an appointment for the next day. After thinking about the fact that I had been trying to get this work done for 2 weeks, I called Mike to cancel and was going to hire another plumber. But, Mike insisted he would come do the work to make up for our problems with Kevin.
Mike showed up the next day - but everything he looked at he said - "this is broken, I don't have the parts" and he would try to jury-rig it. I told him I know the stuff is broken - that's why I called you - to get it replaced for fixed, I could jury-rig the stuff myself. Finally out of frustration I told him we were both wasting out time and he should just leave. He then said that installing hot water heaters was really his "thing" and he didn't really do home pluming repair. He then recommend Steve Huff Plumbing.
He could of saved us 2 weeks time if he would have recommended Steve Huff Plumbing to begin with. He did fix one shower faucet, and he did not charge us for his time or parts, but overall it was frustrating and a big waste of time.

I called Mike Lunsford (owner) to get our hot water tank fixed. He came over the next day and replaced the heating element and also flushed the hot water tank. I thought he did a good job and put us at the top of his list because he said he tries to put emergencies (people without hot water) first. I thought he did a good job. However, I would not recommend Blue Ridge Plumbing based on another experience which I will put in another review.

Mike Lunsford, (the owner) did a terrific job for us, and got us up and running again, with hot water, Pronto!  He is professional and honest. I certainly recommend him.

the plumber was very professional, was very efficient  found problem and fixed it quick,   he cleaned up job site and put me in touch with a good dry wall man, I would use Blue ridge Plumbing again.
