"Jim and Jordan were both professional and honest. They worked with us on installing an interior french/foundation drain around half of our basement into an existing, outside sump pump and did not try to oversell us on adding a second sump pump (as other companies did). Their crew were all polite, efficient and hard workers and left the area clean and finished off in a professional manner. For years, every time there was sustained rain we would have water seeping into our basement. Since their installation, we have had sustained rain a number of times and the foundation drain has worked very well. No more water in the basement. I would highly recommend them."

"This past January (2021) my wife and I purchased an old farmhouse constructed in 1930. Most of the foundation including the perimeter sills, joyce supports, and central foundation beams were riddled with termite damage that had accumulated over decades of time (and neglect). Most of the subfloors were rotted as well. The piers holding up the floor supports in the crawlspace were in disrepair and in some cases falling apart. Prior to purchasing this house we contacted several foundation reconstruction services to assess the damage and recommend needed repairs. In essence, our testimony here completes a circle that began when we consulted Angie's list in search of foundation specialists back in January. Angie's list is how we found Uneven Floor Solutions and now we are adding our story to the other outstanding testimonies present on this website list. Impressed by the praise earned by this company, we contacted Masle Francisco Gamez (owner) and asked him for a bid. He visited the property and spent a considerable amount of time crawling around underneath the house assessing the damage and identifying the estimated costs of repairing the foundation. Based on information supplied by Masle we gained the confidence to purchase this house and to contract his company for the work. In effect, the house would be lifted up above the old foundation and replaced with all new treated lumber. The foundation piers were likewise removed and replaced with adjustable steel jack stands. The work was estimated to take two weeks and all work was finished on time. The rotted wood filled an entire refuge dumpster and was packed to the brim with rotted wood removed from under our house. We also asked the company to remove two sections of wall and to build two new entryways into the kitchen and living room. Masle and his crew were efficient and confident in their work and we are very satisfied with the strength of the foundation and the expectation that our house will serve us nicely for many decades to come. I would be glad to provide further testimony if needed but potential customers should be confident that Uneven Floor company will provide an excellent job for a competitive price. KWS"

"Mr Rooter called almost immediately and was at my home in less than 1 hour. Mr Rooter's technician Chris identified, cleared, and verified the blockage very quickly. After clearing the blockage, Chris set up a followup visit for the following week to pump out our septic tank and install a clean out fitting. We were very satisfied with all of the work."

"I feel compelled to alter my review. Although the end product was not the prestine driveway I had hoped for, it was the best of the 3 driveways. Although my frustrations with my new build home have been exhausting, challenging and emotionally draining. In the end the pot boiled over and I took my frustrations out on DJ and Jacob. The home contractor poured the original driveway in temperatures in excess of 101 degrees, with in 12 hours the driveway was completely cracked and shattered. After 1.5 years the builder finally agreed to replace all the damaged driveways, sidewalks in the community. The builder then hired a contractor to redo the damaged concrete work. Unfortunately my driveway instead of being poured in one single pour was poured in three separate pours with lapse of pours between 45 minutes to 1 hour. They then sprayed water on the three different pours and attempted to blend them all together. Upon drying the driveway had Crazing the entire length of the driveway, major cosmetic issues where the pours were blended in addition to cold joints. The unsightlyness of the driveway in addition to numerous negative comments of neighbors encouraged me to once again redo the driveway this time at my expense. To-date I have spent over 40k repairing major issues with my home. Although almost every home in our community has had to deal with issues such as mine and some with issues far beyond my own, it did not.make dealing with those issues and costs any easier. DJ and Jacob did what they could to produce a quality product. My anxiety level was on high alert with this particular project. After the driveway dried to a white color and 2 months later when the gray dots appeared, all I could think of was here we go again. Knowing my anxiety level, a little more communication to try and explain what was causing these dots to occur and what if any thing could have been done if they continued, most likely would have prevented my response. For that I am truly sorry. Knowing that nothing in.life is perfect...i.was just hoping that for once something would go right and I could put it to rest. Once again Although the driveway did not meet my prestine expectations, in all fairness it was the best of the 3. Unfortunately in life you can not take back what you say. I do feel that I was unfair to DJ and Jacob and all that they do to assist their customers."

"Stephen was great, my tub backed up with water and my toilet would not flush, turns out my septic field needed replacing. Very responsive, reasonably priced and best of all. I didn’t have to leave my home during the repairs. I’d give 10 stars if I could."

Foundation Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Basement toilets don’t always need a pump. However, it is the most common setup because plumbing systems use gravity to move waste away from the home. Basement toilets often sit below the home’s main sewage system, and installing a sewage ejector pump pushes the wastewater and sewage up to the main sewer line. Alternatively, you can use an upflush or macerator toilet that breaks down the waste and pushes it straight to the main sewer line rather than via a sewer line from the bathroom.

No, you can’t drain your sump pump into your home’s sewer system. In fact, it’s against the law in many places because dumping extra water into a municipal water system can disrupt or overwhelm the treatment process. And for similar reasons, you shouldn’t discharge a sump pump into your septic system, either.

Installing a sump pump takes a bit of know-how, but it is possible to do it yourself. You’ll need to familiarize yourself with details like where sump pump water goes to avoid creating new flooding risks. If you’re doing the work yourself, it’s recommended to bring in a pro for a quick inspection afterward so you can be sure your home is protected from any water damage concerns.

No, homeowners insurance policies do not typically cover sump pump installation. However, some companies may offer incentives in the form of discounts or reduced premiums if homeowners install sump pumps. Insurance companies do this because sump pumps can reduce water damage claims. You may also be able to obtain enhanced water-backup coverage after installing a sump pump.

Yes, many modern water pumps are designed with energy efficiency in mind. Look for pumps with high efficiency ratings or those with an Energy Star certification. These pumps consume less power and can reduce your utility bills. Additionally, variable-speed pumps are more efficient since they can adjust the flow based on demand, providing significant savings over time.
