"Mgr Jeffrey offered free estimate next morning. Had two outdoor hoses were unable remove from hose bibs; were seized on. afraid needed new hose bibs! BG sent tech Joseph Lopez who was professional, knowledgeable & personable. After assessing bibs advised cost for removal of hoses and/or to install new bibs. i gave the go ahead to do his best to remove hoses! noted he consciously covered his shoes when coming through home from front to back yards. He patiently & carefully tried a few removal methods including the spray/wrench we had tried. He was finally able to remove them by carefully using a hack saw! He also installed a new hose connecting part on ea bib w/new threads that are guaranteed 2 yrs. It was third of the price new bibs would have cost! We so appreciated the extra conscientious efforts Joseph Lopez made to repair the hose bibs giving us excellent results at economical price! He also made recommendations regarding the attachment of the panels to the rood that would provide more stability and leakproofing. The representative appeared to know what he was doing - much better than others, including the representative who was engaged by the roofer (who replaced our rood due to hail damage) to disconnect/connect the panels."

"I can't begin to express my gratitude to Paul Zimmer and Detail Solar. I had a disaster created by a windstorm which caused my solar inverter to detach from the house and flip upside down. The conduit, cutoff boxes and wiring were all hanging precariously. Each day that went by caused more stress as all that heavy equipment pulled further and further away from the house. I called the company that installed the solar, only 18 months ago, only to find out that they had gone out of business and disappeared. Also, no one close to my address was interested in servicing my need. Fortunately, one day I happened to look on Angie's List and found a company with a Greenville address that did solar repair. I didn't even complete the application because I didn't think that someone from Greenville would come all the way to Myrtle Beach to fix my problem. To my surprise, Paul called me the same day and SHOWED UP THE VERY NEXT DAY to start the process of removing all the damaged equipment and wiring from the house. He made the house safe from any further damage and hauled off the debris to the local dump. Two weeks later, he and his crew showed up to totally upgrade my system, fix the siding and get my panels producing power again. I have since referred him to others that have solar problems and will continue to support him and his team any way I can. The bottom line is I didn't know that honest, thorough and quality people like him were still around. Do yourself a favor and hire Detail Solar for anything solar and you will absolutely be amazed."

"On this last visit Scott Barnhill worked on our irrigation system and drainage. This had been his 6th visit or so to our property and we are very pleased with him. Each visit lasts about 5 hours for which we are charged $250.00 and he performs a great variety of services. We have had him repair plumbing leaks, install grab bars in tiled showers, install sink popups, correct improper wiring in outlets, install GFI outlets, trace wiring circuits and hang large and heavy pictures/paintings in addition to replacing the garage wall unit for the irrigation system, digging up and replacing irrigation heads and crawling under my house to investigate drainage issues. His ability to perform so many different tasks in a professional and courteous manner at reasonable rates makes him a very desirable service provider.

Everyone I worked with was very knowledgeable and willingly shared information with me. The engineer, Andrew, responded to my calls and questions quickly and kept me informed of what to expect along the way. Permits and coordination with the electric company were all handled by Sustainable Energy Solutions - I didn't have to worry about a thing. The installation crew, Adam, Eric, and Greg, were on time each day, professional, and very courteous and friendly. When they encountered a problem identifying the location of the patio roof trusses, they presented it to me with a solution. Dan the electrician patiently explained how the meters and my tie-in with the electric company worked. It was such a thrill to flip the switch on my beautiful new solar system and start producing my own clean energy!

"The promo was a good lure. We discovered however that unless we brought up that we had bought this Angie's package, we were charged full price without the upgrades and add-ons. I called the person originally contacted (Julie) when I discovered the oversight. Within a week, I received the $25 visa gift card which was one piece of the package. I don't know if the other pieces will be easily added on/credited or not. Haven't seen anything. The visa gift certificate however requires me to send the partner company $2.95 shipping and handling, with a trip to the bank to get it in money order or cashier's check....really? I'm guessing they're hoping most customers won't bother. 
So all in all, we like the product and the installer was awesome.  Loving the service.
The package through Angie's list however I'm still waiting on to see if we got the freebies we bought.
