"The team was very professional, knowledgeable and knew exactly what I wanted. They did a great job of designing the landscape areas as well as providing very decorative and healthy plants. They took their time and did not rush to finish the job and completed the project in a timely manner. Their prices are great and they are very flexible to meet your financial needs and goals toward your landscaping project. I will have them to complete more projects that I am deciding on and I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a qualified and professional team that know how to get landscaping projects done the right way. They can design any project you want as well as provide recommendations and advice to the best suitable project that does not strain your pockets but will greatly improve the appearance of your yard. Fantastic team, friendly and very courteous. Contact them as I am sure you will not have any regrets about hiring them to complete your landscaping projects."

"weeds (a lot of crab grass) had taken over our lawn. We were very discouraged because we had tried many different weed control chemicals recommended by Home Depot and lawn services, to no effect. Olivia came in and knew what to do immediately. We were impressed with her confidence and knowledge of lawn care and wee control and her explanation of the course of action needed. She did what she said she would do and when she said she would do and when she said she would do it. I was impressed that she developed a plan tailored to our specific situation, rather than a one plan fits all (like most big lawn services) approach. We would highly recommend her services."

"I contracted with Tim McIver Construction to screen in an existing deck. Tim and his team were prompt, used good quality materials, did very good work, and cleaned up when they were finished. He added few extras at no additional charge. Tim and his crew were very professional and polite. I would definitely hire them again."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.

Common materials include wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood offers a classic look, while vinyl and metal are low-maintenance options.

Using concrete footers is the best way to secure a gazebo on a deck without drilling. The weight of the footers is more likely to hold your gazebo in place than other methods. You can also pour concrete into flower pots to create an aesthetically pleasing concrete footer or use concrete columns to make a statement.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.
