Problematic. All 6 replacement crew were illegals who could not speak English. Although the crew showed up on time the company did not arrive with the two estimated sheets of plywood until the crew had striped off the front half of the shingles and put down the underlay. After 6 months the roof sank between rafters at least 2-3 inches. I was afraid that the concerned area had rotted due to the plastic felt of the original had broken off and lifted the shingles right there. At first the owner of Palmetto said he would charge me for the repairs and threatened me with not honoring his warranty. My response was if you are not going to honor your warranty what good is it. A second crew supervisor who was also a illegal but spoke fluent English repaired the problem area. There was a leak that caused the plywood to warp. No workman comp insurance will not save you any money. Temperature was 100 deg F.

The roofing crew did a wonderful job of replacing the roof and an excellent job on the clean-up.

They were very easy to work with, and the new roof looks great. No doubt they did quality work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a roofer in Columbia.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Palmetto Roofing Contractors have gone above and beyond for my family in the Columbia area for YEARS. I had minor leaks over the course of 3 years and every time I called this company, they would literally come out within hours or that day to fix the leak, but they also took care of other leaks that I never even knew about. They also gave me an extremely fair price and the quality of service was some of the best I’ve ever seen. When it came time for me to put a new roof on my house, I called Nick Webb for an estimate. He came that exact day and went over every single detail, taught me about the different shingles and suggested the best type of shingle to use for my red brick, bungalow house. Not only did he give me an estimate that same day, his company was able to squeeze me in ONLY TWO DAYS later. I was on a specific timeframe to get my new roof installed so I really appreciated the fact that they were able to schedule me so quickly. When they came to put on my new roof, I’ve never seen a better crew of workers in my entire life. They were EXTREMELY detail oriented but also quick. They used the best shingles and gave me a great price. The finished product was incredible. I think the best part about my experience is that this company, especially Nick Webb, made me so feel comfortable from beginning to end. Nick arrived with his crew at 7am and stayed throughout the day to ensure everything was going smoothly. Towards the end I told Nick, “I have never seen this kind of quality of work in my life. The roof looks absolutely perfect.” He then noticed one small shingle that was just barely sticking up. He, himself, immediately climbed up on his latter and fixed it. I would have never even noticed it. The attention to detail and flexibility of scheduling a new roof and fixing leaks in a timely manner have all impressed me over the years. But the most important thing that I have to mention is that this company is 100% honest to their word and they won’t stop until they’ve made sure their customers are more than satisfied with the final product. It only took a day for them to complete this project. The labors, that work for Palmetto Roofing, were very professional with many years of experience. Not only did they performed the project thst were assign to them, they also did minor improvements and repairs with no additional cost. Before the starting the project they would put a tarp around my house, and completly clean up the yard when they all finish. The owner and his son are great people to work with. They make the experience very enjoyable and stress free. One day, one of my family members drove by my resident's and praise me on the results. "A" One

Everything went smoothly. Worked was done quickly and professionally and all mess was cleaned up at the end of the day exactly as expected.

The workers were on time and curtious. Was able to complete the job in two days. When the color I wanted wasn't available, they gave great options.

Everything was wonderful! I needed a roof on short notice for a home I was selling and Mr. Webb was amazing to deal with. Randy and the team were great. The roof looks fantastic. Price was competitive and on the money. Even when an unforeseen issue arose, the price did not change. All trash was gone. Fast, clean, easy to work with. I will have them back for my other projects!

Mr. Webb and his son have been wonderful! They have been a silver lining through this whole process. His son came and replaced some Shingles on the day of the damage. Our insurance and mortgage company have not been easy to work with, and this whole process has taken forever. Mr. Webb has bent over backwards for us to get us all of the necessary paperwork that our mortgage company required. We got discouraged several times, but they were there with us and supported us through this long process. It took over two months to get a new roof, not because of Palmetto Roofing, but because of insurance and our mortgage company. Today they are putting our new roof on. They began around 8:00 this morning, and they are almost finished! We love our new roof! It looks like a new house! I would highly recommend Palmetto Roofing to anyone out there who needs a new roof or roof repairs! We went through a lot to get a new roof, and a lot of people would not have done everything that this company did for us! They are the best of the best!

They showed up on time, did the work and cleaned up. The remainder of the supplies were picked up promptly the next day.

I had an issue with my roof. He came out same day within minutes. Fixed it right away. Very pleased. He was very professional and nice. Will be willing to tell everyone about him who needs a roof.

EXCELLENT. Randy and his team did great work and he and his guys overdelivered on their work. I highly recommend you hire this company to do your roof!! We had over a half dozen quotes. True professionals they even did a great job cleaning up even though they finished on a freezing cold friday night in January. They did the job completely and we are very happy. Thank you Randy!!!

It went really well. The service was good. The price was good compared to other bids. Cleaned up. They told me what they were gonna do. They gave me a formal written proposal and give me an estimate.

It was great working with this company. We felt they went beyond what was expected. The clean up was very well done. All the crew seemed to like working for this company and were proud of the job they were doing.

I called Randy and he promptly returned my call. He went out on the day he said he would and then emailed me an estimate. After reviewing all the estimates, i decided on Randy. I have to admit that one of the reasons I choose Randy was not only was his price good, but i have had him replace the roof on one of my other houses and he did such a good job that i wanted him to do this roof too. He and his crew came out bright and early the morning that he told me he would be able to replace the roof. He finished up in one day and everything looked great! Thanks so much Randy!

They were done so quickly I didn't get to meet Randy. I am watching aconcern closely, but Randy assures me if it is an issue, he'll make it write. More importantly, I believe that. Not something I've said about someone I never met before.

I called the company on the November 15, 2018 and spoke to a man about getting a quote for a roof replacement for a property in Sumter, SC. I explained that I am a property manager based out of Georgia. The owner of the of the property also lives in Georgia but is originally from South Carolina. I was told someone would come out in the next few days to do the quote and I would receive an email. I did not receive an email or a call back. I called again on the November 25th, 2018 explained everything again and they said they would come out in the next two days to do the quote. I did not receive an email or a call back. On December 5, 2018 I called again stating I still have not received any information about the quote. The same man that I had spoken each time says "Oh I know what happened. See you are a property management company in Georgia and the property is in Sumter. We feel like we aren't going to paid for the job." There was never any discussion about payment or actual services. I never even got a quote from this company so there is no reason to be concerned about payment if I haven't even began the conversation about wanting them to perform any services besides giving me a quote. Professionalism and customer service was absolutely horrible. If there was an issue with me being a property manager based out of GA then that should have been discussed the first or at least the second time we spoke. I shouldn't have been told they would give me quote and then they just never contacted me about anything.
