Nick and his crew did a wonderful job replacing my roof! They were prompt snd professional… everything you want in a roofer …. a pleasure to work with! And … they cleaned up every trace of the job afterwards!

Palmetto Roofing did a great job for me -- complete tear off, wood replacement & repair, and entire new roof all in two days. They were very careful to protect my shrubs and left the property clean as a whistle. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating. All of this came at a very fair price in comparison to several other bids. If you need a roof, these are your people!

The job was done a little over a yr ago. I believe now there is a leak in my roof from the exhaust fan not being sealed properly. I have reached out to the company the past several days with no response. I was advised I had a lifetime warranty and would like them to adhere to it.

I was impressed by the management of course, but the working crew were not only personable and friendly, but they kept me informed of the daily progress as well. After the job was finished, they did a great clean up and they let me know they were leaving the property. The shingles look fantastic and I know I will be very pleased with them. Everything went smoothly from scheduling to installation on both brand new roofs for acquired rental properties.They replied promptly to my inquiry, came to the home on time and gave me a reasonable quote. Their pricing was more reasonable for architectural shingles than the other 3 companies I got quotes from. Completed the job on time, good communicators. Additional wood rot repairs of some damage to soffits was also repaired at the two homes. A year later there was some hail damage to one of the roofs, and they came the same day I called to help me get the small repair taken care of. This is a family run/owned business that is very professional. As I expand my rental home portfolio in the coming years in Columbia, I will be calling these guys again if I purchase a rental home that needs a new roof or repairs.

Excellent. Prompt and professional

Problematic. All 6 replacement crew were illegals who could not speak English. Although the crew showed up on time the company did not arrive with the two estimated sheets of plywood until the crew had striped off the front half of the shingles and put down the underlay. After 6 months the roof sank between rafters at least 2-3 inches. I was afraid that the concerned area had rotted due to the plastic felt of the original had broken off and lifted the shingles right there. At first the owner of Palmetto said he would charge me for the repairs and threatened me with not honoring his warranty. My response was if you are not going to honor your warranty what good is it. A second crew supervisor who was also a illegal but spoke fluent English repaired the problem area. There was a leak that caused the plywood to warp. No workman comp insurance will not save you any money. Temperature was 100 deg F.

The roofing crew did a wonderful job of replacing the roof and an excellent job on the clean-up.

They were very easy to work with, and the new roof looks great. No doubt they did quality work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a roofer in Columbia.

It only took a day for them to complete this project. The labors, that work for Palmetto Roofing, were very professional with many years of experience. Not only did they performed the project thst were assign to them, they also did minor improvements and repairs with no additional cost. Before the starting the project they would put a tarp around my house, and completly clean up the yard when they all finish. The owner and his son are great people to work with. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Palmetto Roofing Contractors have gone above and beyond for my family in the Columbia area for YEARS. I had minor leaks over the course of 3 years and every time I called this company, they would literally come out within hours or that day to fix the leak, but they also took care of other leaks that I never even knew about. They also gave me an extremely fair price and the quality of service was some of the best I’ve ever seen. When it came time for me to put a new roof on my house, I called Nick Webb for an estimate. He came that exact day and went over every single detail, taught me about the different shingles and suggested the best type of shingle to use for my red brick, bungalow house. Not only did he give me an estimate that same day, his company was able to squeeze me in ONLY TWO DAYS later. I was on a specific timeframe to get my new roof installed so I really appreciated the fact that they were able to schedule me so quickly. When they came to put on my new roof, I’ve never seen a better crew of workers in my entire life. They were EXTREMELY detail oriented but also quick. They used the best shingles and gave me a great price. The finished product was incredible. I think the best part about my experience is that this company, especially Nick Webb, made me so feel comfortable from beginning to end. Nick arrived with his crew at 7am and stayed throughout the day to ensure everything was going smoothly. Towards the end I told Nick, “I have never seen this kind of quality of work in my life. The roof looks absolutely perfect.” He then noticed one small shingle that was just barely sticking up. He, himself, immediately climbed up on his latter and fixed it. I would have never even noticed it. The attention to detail and flexibility of scheduling a new roof and fixing leaks in a timely manner have all impressed me over the years. But the most important thing that I have to mention is that this company is 100% honest to their word and they won’t stop until they’ve made sure their customers are more than satisfied with the final product. The workers were on time and curtious. Was able to complete the job in two days. When the color I wanted wasn't available, they gave great options.
