"I had 3 bids on painting the cupboards white. Two contractors were very leery of painting the oak doors due to all the heavy grain saying they many not turn out as well as I'd hoped, though they would paint them if I wanted. I had read the great reviews of Phoenix Refinishing and talked to Stevie on the phone a year before I had the work done. It is a large kitchen with many cabinets, drawers and 6 foot island. I also wanted an oak table painted white to match the cabinets. The laundry room has upper and a lower sink cabinets that was also done. After much consideration I hired Phoenix. They were the most expensive bid I'd gotten but I had a lot of confidence in them after the initial consultation. My husband and I are truly thrilled with the results. The work is exceptional, cabinets and kitchen table turned out just beautiful, smooth with a great hard finish. The workers were very nice, respectful, and amazingly clean. I am so very happy we went with Phoenix, they are more than worth the cost. It is certainly not a project you want botched. I frequently recommend Phoenix to friends and family."

We're ultimately going to have them do a future kitchen remodel, that's how strong we felt about their work. They have some wonderful craftsman and are very detail oriented. "Shawn and his team have been the only painters we have used to paint our 2800 sq ft house since we bought it 4 years ago. I’m extremely picky when it comes to home décor and remodeling, and have carefully redone my house room by room over the past 4 years. For each project, we have had Shawn and his team do the painting and drywall repair. Our last project involved painting one room and repainting the ceiling in our upstairs hallway, as well as drywall repair from water stains on the ceiling. My husband and I both work, so we left Shawn a key (as we have done in the past) so he and his team could let themselves in and out of the house as needed. I’ve never worried about leaving them a key – my husband and I are well trained through our jobs in judging character, and we have always trusted Shawn and his team to be unsupervised in our home. Since they were painting the upstairs ceiling, they covered each stair step, stair railing, and floor to make sure no paint got on anything. All the furniture was moved by them out of the room and was done carefully – there was no damage to the furniture or the wood floor. They cleaned up after themselves each day and placed the furniture back safely after the job was complete. The room that Shawn painted this time was very personal to me as this room was to be my personal/private space in the house (I’m an introvert who needs a lot of down time). Shawn made some suggestions regarding the painting of the room, and even though I was nervous with some of his decisions, I trusted him and I am glad I did because the room turned out perfect! It had the exact “feel” and look I was going for and looked like some of the rooms I have admired in magazines. I just read the negative review from the reviewer below. I noticed that he mentioned that Shawn “walked off the job”. I do not know anything personally about the job that was performed, but my husband and I have worked with Shawn and his team enough over the past years to know that he takes a lot of pride in his work and his business, and would never leave a job for any personal reason or because he couldn’t complete the task. The only reason I can imagine that he would leave is because the clients were so difficult that he had no choice. I will continue to recommend Shawn to people and will be using him and his team in the future to complete a few last projects in our home!"

"Great experience working with Danny Rosenberger! I'm a DIY'er that with an older home that got over my head with a living room remodel. Danny was able to come in, assess the situation, and make recommendations on how to deal with surprises like rough cut framing, nothing being straight or square, and even spotted the reason we had cracks forming in our ceiling. His 20+ years of experience showed in the way he was able to bring order to the chaos. He was extremely efficient and conscious about keeping a clean job site. The results were way better than anything I expected with no indication at all that there were any challenges. Because of this experience I also had him do the tile flooring in another area that I was planning to attempt myself. He finished lighting fast, floors are solid and completely flat, and look amazing. He is a craftsman and I will be using him again on my next bathroom project."

"Jeff arrived at our scheduled time and introduced Wilbur(painter) and asked what all needs  to be done. Wilbur was very fast and most of all neatly. He did a wonderful job painting the room. Jeff and I have been trying to schedule this job for the past month. I had water damaged to the house and cancel several times. Jeff was very understanding and told me that whenever I was ready, he would come out. My concern was the expiration of the coupon. Jeff assure me that he would honor it  at any time I was ready to use it.
