"I feel Commonwealth Contracting is very easy to work with. Mike Eippert always responds to any questions we may have had during the process of the work. This is the second major renovation we have had done with "Commonwealth" and both times we were very happy with the results. I will say you need to be patient with how long the project may take. We realized all of these contractors are extremely very busy at this time. However, quality was much more important to me than speed, and all of the work we had done is outstanding. As far as price they are not the cheapest nor the most expensive, however, I feel comfortable that what we paid for the complete renovation was very fair. To me "Quality" of work done is most important and that is what "Commonwealth" provides."

"They repaired the kitchen floor after a serious leak as well as repaired and replaced the subfloor foundational wood beams. We were stuck because we had to have the work done prior to an appraisal of the house in a week. Surprisingly they were able to move quickly and help us out. We received a contract about 3.5 months after we signed up for the deal for $43K, not including any materials, except cabinets. We were responsible for paying for and supplying tile, counter tops, light fixtures, back splash, door knobs and pulls. We also asked about any warranty and we were basically told these were worthless regardless of what anyone promised.

Trey is definitely honest so we appreciated that. But just have to remember if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is! I think there was a lack of communication between the service provider and Angie's list. Just recommend before signing up, confirm all details with the service provider. And be prepared to pay extra for ANY upgrades or add-ons."

Danny was able to come in, assess the situation, and make recommendations on how to deal with surprises like rough cut framing, nothing being straight or square, and even spotted the reason we had cracks forming in our ceiling. His 20+ years of experience showed in the way he was able to bring order to the chaos. He was extremely efficient and conscious about keeping a clean job site. The results were way better than anything I expected with no indication at all that there were any challenges. He is a true professional, very knowledgable, and took our problems with the house to heart and made sure that they were addressed quickly and with great results.
