I had mold on the pickets of an outside rail and banister. David and his crew did a very good job (supposedly) killing the mold and repainting the pickets and banister. Unfortunately, he did not kill the mold as it has come back iness than a year. I was able to contact him in April and he promised to come by and re-examine the job. He has not done this after many many texts and voice mails. He hasn't even contacted me back. It's not late September and no word for him. It's ashamed bc he did a pretty good job but won't stand by his work. I would give him and B for job but F for not standing behind his work.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company. In our initial meeting, David was very knowledgeable and friendly, but things went downhill from there. The employees who did the job did not seem to know what they were doing. A number of things were done incorrectly and had to be later repaired by someone else. Worst of all, one thing that we paid to have done was never completed. I emailed them many times in the following months, and they kept saying they would put it on their schedule to come back and finish the job. They never did. We paid for work that was never completed, and I am very disappointed.

Terrible. I had to get someone else to repair the work they had done.

Affordable Handyman and Painting Services: They were outstanding! father and son team did great work on my garage closet project constructed walls applied drywall cleaned the area, so well done looked like it had been constructed when the house was originally built. Thanks for the great work!

We were having problems with the shower floor, so asked David to come give us an estimate on fixing it. He noticed the drain had never been sealed when originally put in by the previous contractor about 10 years earlier, so made the estimate to correct all those problems. When they opened up the floor to remove the pan, we found water damage to all support wood running under the shower and under the bathroom floor, so have to pull up the floor, remove the vanity and toilet and replace all the tile. They did this quickly and economically. The workers were all courteous and took measures to keep the carpet clean as they moved thru the house. I have used Affordable Handyman before and will continue to use them for other repairs. They are excellent and communicate well with us.

They did a great job with all the items we had them work on. I would definitely utilze their company again in the future if the need arises. Their work was professional and timely. I would highly recommend them to anyone that requires handyman services around their home that they are not able to complete themselves.

Great job. David and his crew showed up on time and finished a day early. Great job prepping and making sure furniture was protected. A couple of areas were needed going over and they promptly returned and fixed area. We were very pleased with the finished project. I will be planning on using them again for another project.

This is a wonderful company. The jobs were completed quickly and professionally. The Painting was perfect! Their staff showed up when they said they would, and did the job in the time frame they quoted for a very reasonable price. I was extremely pleased with the quality and professionalism. THE SHOWER WALLS ARE NOT PLUMB!!! I'm not sure how they managed to set the walls out of plumb, as this is very easy to avoid. This is causing problems as we attempt to have a shower door installed. Tile work is mediocre at best. Awful lippage on the wall tiles (12"x24" tiles). The shower does not drain properly from the corners not being built up enough. Drywall seams at the ceiling are uneven/sanded poorly. Bench seat was supposed to be replaced with granite similar to our wall tile but have not heard from contractor to do so. Did not enclose bottom of the bench, it is currently open wood. They sprayed a urethane sealant on it however we had requested it be enclosed. The last contact from this service was a message indicating they would have the seat (top, front, and bottom) in a week and requested the remaining balance owed which we paid. We chose a larger wall tile to cut down on the cost/difficulty to lay the tiles but the lippage is still an issue. We did not realize that the walls were out of plumb until the shower door installer came to measure the space. I have texted Dee, David's wife\office manager multiple times with no response regarding the walls being out of plumb.

After many calls, texts and emails, I was finally able to speak with Dee in the office to schedule the work to be done. I had used this company once before. There was a bit of confusion on both sides because I was contacted by another local handyman service, whom had identified themselves as AHS, and I scheduled the work to be done, but it wasn't them at all! Luckily, after I left several messages to confirm my appointment with Dee, she finally called me back the day before the work was "scheduled" and the error was discovered. Although I lost a vacation day from work due to the mix up, AHS sent two workers that Saturday to do the job; which took 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete. The guys were friendly and cleaned up after themselves. They were a few minutes late because they got lost finding my home (newer development not always found on gps). Overall, the work was done well and the guys were professional. I also like the fact that AHS quotes by the job a flat rate. The other companies charge by time, materials and labor. They nickel and dime you. It shouldn't matter how long it takes to get the job done. To charge extra for every 30 minutes the worker is here is highway robbery. That is the main reason I am sticking with AHS.

Hired to completely remodel a master bath and full hall bath. Quick to come out and quote. Final price was very close to quoted price. Project was able to be started quickly. They replaced subflooring, tile, shower and cabinets. They kept us informed of delays. Very pleased with their work. Workers trustworthy and professional!

It went very good. The contractor crew were very professional and curtious. Despite the hectic pre-holiday crunch to get repairs done, they booked the job and got the work done before our holiday guests arrived. This is very outstanding considering all the contractors who who not book in my timeframe of need. Many thanks to Affordable Handyman Services for a job well done!
