He figured out an ingenious way to hoist the heavy door to the second floor, and very skillfully and quickly adjusted the frame to fit the door, and affixed the heavy-duty hinges. And for the first-floor door, he figured out a way to repair the existing frame (rather than replace it), thereby saving me hundreds of dollars. All the work was done to a very high standard by a skilled professional who worked quickly and efficiently. And the price-tag for all this was remarkably low -- only a third the price I'd been quoted by another local handyman firm. "Everything was perfect. I’m very pleased and impressed with Dave’s responsiveness, professionalism and ability. Some stubborn parts on our old tub and shower were tricky, but he persevered and made everything work wonderfully well. He hung a large framed painting that had been leaning against the fireplace for ages (this required a pro to hang correctly) and it looks outstanding. It’s centered just right and is secure. Lastly, he installed a new faucet in another bathroom and that looks gorgeous also. Dave does it all and I will definitely hire him again for other home improvements and repairs. "I hired D Design Woodworking to build a floor mirror utilizing an antique mirror from an English armoire. We discussed the design, the type of wood (maple) to be used and the stain color. I received the mirror yesterday and I couldnâ t be happier. The mirror looks great in the frame and Iâ m extremely impressed with the workmanship. The mirror is very substantial and the stain matches our new bedroom furniture perfectly. I cannot recommend D Design more highly."

The workers were very knowledgeable, hard working, and detailed about their work. They ripped out our existing concrete stoop and re-built a new one with crushed stone block and bluestone on top. She is equally as easy to talk to, she is not some some uptight snobby designer. The kitchen pantry lacked the functionality that we needed and the butler's pantry needed more storage. Both jobs turned out just as Patti's designed looked...we could not be more pleased. Of course this could not be be possible without the amazing installers Bryant & Richard who I highly recommend requesting, they are so thorough and pay very close attention to detail and they are fun and friendly!
