"I highly recommend Fabiano's Construction. Our experience with him was fantastic from beginning to end. The project was to restore and replace the exterior window frames of our 1830 Trinity. The previous owners had installed new windows on the inside but left the old ones outside for beauty. Many of these old windows were completely rotten at the bottom, barely holding the small panes of glass together. We got three estimates. One builder wanted to replace the old windows with a second set of new ones. Another was going to patch them up with wood filler. Fabiano was the only one who was willing to actually restore them, using green wood for the parts that were beyond salvaging. It was precision carpentry work requiring problem-solving ingenuity. The new frames and sills are green wood plus Azek (PVC), so they should last forever. Although more major restoration was necessary than foreseen, Fabiano and his crew—his son Will and assistant Simon—still finished the job in the predicted time. They were careful, focused, hard-working, and also really nice, honest people. It was a pleasure to meet them, and the result is a stunning improvement to our house both inside and out. Fabiano is responsive and friendly, an expert who takes pride in his work. Incredibly, his price was the lowest the three. We plan to hire him for another project."

"We had a pretty long list of small like repaired drywall cracks and painting to larger jobs such as rebuilding a flagstone walkway. What impressed me most was the creativity in solutions for what seemed simple, but was not. One example was a large panel next to our refrigerator which was water damaged. Nothing could fix the water damage so the solution was to craft a panel to affix, stain to color, and make it like the damage never happened. The fact we had a leak is a disclosure item for a sale, the fact that it was fixed is what we hired this company for. Excellent work with very nice people."

"Everything was perfect. I’m very pleased and impressed with Dave’s responsiveness, professionalism and ability. Some stubborn parts on our old tub and shower were tricky, but he persevered and made everything work wonderfully well. He hung a large framed painting that had been leaning against the fireplace for ages (this required a pro to hang correctly) and it looks outstanding. It’s centered just right and is secure. Lastly, he installed a new faucet in another bathroom and that looks gorgeous also. Dave does it all and I will definitely hire him again for other home improvements and repairs. "James Parker is the best. He Replaced my Deck. He is a very honest person and Knows what he is doing. When my son gets his new house I definitely recommend James Parker to do his deck, he did a fantastic job, and replacing it with the Trex makes it look even more beautiful. First, he came in and as they were taking the wooden planks off to get to the frame he did tell me that the wood was bad so it had to be replaced and he actually showed me what the problem was too, and then within three days I had a brand new deck. You will not go wrong hiring James Parker, he and his team are awesome. Not only were they fast they were very professional as well."

"I hired D Design Woodworking to build a floor mirror utilizing an antique mirror from an English armoire. We discussed the design, the type of wood (maple) to be used and the stain color. I received the mirror yesterday and I couldnâ t be happier. The mirror looks great in the frame and Iâ m extremely impressed with the workmanship. The mirror is very substantial and the stain matches our new bedroom furniture perfectly. I cannot recommend D Design more highly."

"I called The Driveway Lady to get a quote and ideas on how to solve a difficult problem with my concrete porch. My home was built in the late 1800s and has a large raised concrete wrap around porch surrounded by beautiful stone walls. Replacement would be prohibitive, but there were some substantial cracks and pitting. It was like walking on an ocean reef, it was so rough, and the repairs made to the cracks wouldn’t hold, but Jean determined that it was otherwise secure with no water penetration below. She suggested they repair the cracks with hydraulic cement and then coat the entire surface with Miracote to seal both the cracks and smooth the surface and protect from future pitting. They worked with me to get the color right when I didn’t like the initial application.  Jean stands by her work and does an outstanding job. The people she has working for her are also courteous, pleasant and easy to work with. I can’t recommend her and her team enough."
