At Closets by Design, we design, build and install custom organizational projects (we don't offer closet clean out or junk removal services). Our designers travel to your home for a free consultation. We manufacture everything locally in our office in Exton, PA. Our installers are all full time employees who are a treat to have in your home! We handle Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, New Castle, and Philadelphia counties.

The Closets by Design team exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. We renovated our new (to us) 1925 house and weren't sure that we even needed custom closets. We contacted Closets by Design to see what they could do and had a great experience with our designer, Jana. She made great suggestions and kept an eye on reasonable costs, too. She helped us to design two closets that are much nicer and more functional than anything we could have done on our own. Then, on the day of installation, Tyrone, our installer, was friendly, professional and a joy to work with. In hindsight, the money we spent on the new closets is among the best we spent and we are thrilled with the results.

Everything was fine with Closets by Design however we had a hiccup on installation since the floors in the house had to be replaced due to a manufacturers error and that was scheduled to coincide with the wall unit installation. We moved the install date back and the installer showed up exactly on time and completed the installation as designed. He left the house neat and clean and was very polite. Nice fellow.

Terri, the designer, spent about 1.5-2 hours looking at the closet, asking questions, designing the system, and providing pricing during her visit. She listened to our requirements, answered all of our questions and explained the installation process and the requirements for removing baseboards and emptying the closet before installation. 6 weeks later, the system was installed in a few hours by one installer. He was neat, did the cutting in his truck, and cleaned up before he left. The installation matched the design drawings perfectly. I was surprised at how sturdy and well-built the shelving components are. We got a built-in laundry hamper, which is a great feature. The company seems to be very well run, with friendly, courteous employees and quality built in to all of their work processes. I would definitely recommend them. Make sure to use a 40% off coupon - they are easy to find.

This is our third project with Closet by Design and Wendy Fooks (lead designer). Wendy did a great job looking at our closet space, designing a functional layout that meets out needs, and provided a competivie quote. Wendy was able to finish all of the design work within a few hours and we were able to complete the transaction same day. On the day of install, two installers arrived on schedule and were able to complete all of the work within a few hours. We highly recommend Wendy and her Closet by Design team to anyone who is looking for added closet organization and efficient use of storage space. Thanks again!!!

The install went great for both jobs - no issues with them. The closet insert was a no brainier. Converting the linen closet to a drawer / door storage unit didn't go as well. My opinion is the sales person / estimator needed more experience. We removed the door and frame and measured from the rough studs which was not plum but took the smallest measurement. After reviewing the drawing provided by the sales person some adjustments were made. Bottom line was we should have measured the inside of the door frame and made a minor adjustment to account for a wider trim. on one side. Live and learn. I'd recommend getting several estimates and use this company as such. My wife pushed this to be completed and the sales person had a buy now price. enough said.

Jillian, the designer, listened carefully to my needs and designed all the spaces in an absolutely amazing manner. They are perfect. I have more storage space than I need and the products are extremely well made and very sturdy and are guaranteed for life. The installers were on time, very neat and tidy, protecting areas with tarps etc. They vacuumed when finished and even cleaned all the new shelving etc. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to anyone who wants superior quality work done.

We came to closets by design through Home Depot and were contacted shortly thereafter by Maria Kapourelos. At our first meeting Maria made a preliminary design for the closet as well as answered all our questions. We were very impressed by Maria's knowledge, experience, and professionalism. The price she quoted was competitive so we began the project. The closet and bookcases were built at the same time as a renovation was underway and Maria took care of all the coordination with our contractor. We are very pleased with the results and because we had such a good experience we asked Maria to create a design for the rest of the office. This she did in such a stylish way that the room now gets compliments from all the visitors to our home. In addition to doing the design Maria has also been helpful since the installation. We would recommend her and closets by design most highly, to anyone who is interested in organizing a closet or office.
