Andy is spot on when it comes to pricing. The very first time he was out for an estimate he noticed a strangulating root which was killing one of my trees. He went to his truck for some tools and took care of that root instantly - at no charge - and saved my tree that I did not even know was in trouble. Also, we had an ice storm recently and Andy was able to save my favorite 60' Pine tree. Branches were freezing and dropping to the ground. They did a procedure called "re-balancing" and actually weighted the tree in specific areas until it could take hold - and it is surviving as well. His pricing is spot on as well. "I had 4 trees removed by Shades Of Green. The crew showed up before 7AM and starts planning their approach. Once plan had been laid out, the execution was so calculated and with accuracy. They maneuvered their crane right next to my garage as a staging place. Trimmed the 3 big trees right next to my garage with accuracy making sure that the hanging removed tree was safely transported above my garage and house safely to the ground. Protected my lawn and driveway with mats. The whole process was so neat and not to mention you got the front row seat of a spectacular event with big cranes, Bucket trucks and other machinery on the ground. The crew was so precise and shows expertise with their approach. From the ground crew, tree climber, crane operator, the Crew Chief, Julio and Tom the Arborist they showed professionalism and are respectful of the owner’s requests. "I called them since they were the first name on Angie's List and had good reviews. The owner and his assistant were there within the hour. We needed one large tree down immediately but we had them remove several more and were there two more days. On that first day we recommended them to our neighbor and they are also pleased with their work. We have now recommended them to three other people. We thought the prices were a little high but we have never had a tree removed before so we have nothing with which we could compare it. There were several workers here since the trees were very large and they were all courteous and respectful . They did an excellent job cleaning up the area and will be back to remove stumps,"
