It seems like it was a very good service, they come out once e year if you like. They seem to be relatively okay and the pricing was right. They've been very helpful and kept my lawn and trees in good shape.

Davey did a phenomenal job from start to finish. Worked with Gary for the initial estimate and liked the fact that they were local and had a great reputation. They were good on pricing, coming in about even with some smaller local providers and cheaper than other larger providers. Other providers kept selling me on their "crane" truck - but Davey didn't need to bother! The crew was here for two days to take down a number of 100ft+ trees. The first day was most of the cutting down and trimming, and the second day was a full cleanup, the guys even raked my yard and barely saw any remnants of the trees! They came back a few days later to grind the stumps and with a quick ask and adjustment, Gary added in a few extra stumps on the fly for me to help make my back yard look great and protect my house from weakened ash trees. I would definitely hire Gary and the crew to come back out again!

They were timely. They showed up on time. We didn't have any problems in getting them to do a work. The after service is good as well.

After being a customer of Davey since they took over Care of Trees, this summer, they have proved to be utterly incompetent. Our previous arborist had done a great job and made sure our yard, shrubs, and trees were always in good health. When he retired, our account was almost completely ignored. I had requested that services just be done & that I not be called or have the bell rung when they were here. Those flags were erased from my account. The new arborist never came by even though he was literally across the street doing work for our HOA. When I notified the company of my unhappiness, I was caught up in another series of unprofessional behavior. The receptionist told me the person who had her job previously didn't know what she was doing, and then told me none of my lawn services had been done all summer. When the lawn services guy called me back to discuss this, he was furious. He told me what an idiot the receptionist is, and that I *had* gotten all the lawn services - but maybe I'd gotten away without paying for them so good for me! I'd set up a time to meet with my new arborist when I'd be home and could go over my concerns. But somehow he wasn't notified of this (by the "idiot" receptionist?), so he came by when I wasn't home and called to discuss his findings. Finally, a district manager came out to try to salvage the account. He went around the yard, listened to our concerns (plants and with his company), and made recommendations. He knew how unhappy we were. Even though the receptionist didn't know how to put the notice on our account telling employees not to ring my doorbell or knock, he did and promised to do it. Today, at 7:30am, less than a week after we met, and on a day I had set aside for a good sleep-in, guess who rang my doorbell to announce they were here to spray my trees. A Davey employee. The district manager forgot to flag all of our work orders and admitted it. The receptionist can't tell what work has been done and doesn't communicate with the arborists. The lawn guy has no sense of customer service and what is appropriate to say to a customer. The arborist has no common sense and doesn't keep track of his customer base. And the district manager misses critical details that end up blowing up in his face.

They scheduled an appointment to provide an estimate and Tom arrived at the scheduled time. There was a very large tree that I was concerned would fall on the house that I wanted to take down. Tom assured me that it was a healthy tree and while he couldn’t guarantee it wouldn’t fall he didn’t feel it needed to come down. He suggested a cable to secure the two sides for a much lower cost. Everything was done on the schedule I needed. They showed up. Did the work and cleaned up.

Great! When I informed them that we were in a bit of a hurry (surprise, new puppy!), a member of the team came out and assessed the job the very next day. The price was rate and they performed the job within two weeks. When I came home, the site was completely cleaned up. Great service.

Davey Tree provides exceptional work in a short amount of time. These men are true professionals; courteous, friendly and thorough. Aesthetically the results are stunning. The rain tree and the maple were beautifully shaped and lifted. Every detail was carefully planned and executed. I am one happy customer!

Excellently. I wouldn't change anything and I would definitely hire again. Price was right, responses were prompt. The guys doing the work were amazingly professional.

They did a good job. They came and were able to access the tree from the road and they did a fine job. They were a little more expensive as I recall. They did it when they said they would do it. They gave me a price ahead of time, showed up on time, did a good job and cleaned up.

Service went great! I would rate their prices as A+!  They arrived on time, stayed within the estimate given and they cleaned up when they were finished.

They were very good, but I haven't heard from them in two years. They did exactly what was supposed to be done.

It was very good and they usually got there when they were suppose and they did the work.

They're very good. They're very competitive. I haven't scheduled or signed up for a yearly service for fertilizing my front beds. They came out and they did it without telling me that they're coming out to do it. They billed me for it. I didn't like that part. When I called them back and told them I never signed a contract and I wasn't notified they're coming to do my yard, they reversed the charge.

The crew arrived early and were very professional in set-up and
tree removal.  They cleaned up well, and they removed the
tree limbs thoroughly.  For the amount of work plus city parking,
the price was reasonable.  
Most of all, I appreciated their quick response.

My husband went on Angie’s List and picked them out. My husband said they were very polite and nice. They came when they said they were and did the job. I think the price was fair. Their responsiveness was good. My husband also said that they were very professional.
