"Less than 5 years ago, I spent in excess of $10,000 to have a new unit installed with a 10 year warranty. I should have seen the red flags from the very beginning. The sales representative told us additional vents would be installed and when the installation crew showed up, that did not happen. Fast forward to the present and I am now on my 4th phone call for an appointment this season, 3 days so far of not being able to work as I waited for a technician to come diagnose the problem. The 3rd. tech came last night and indicated that the work the other tech did was not for the root of the problem. (I was told in front of witnesses that the work needed to be done, was not covered under warranty, would cost me $367 and would fix my issues)In fact, the 3rd tech only made the issue worse by leaving our attic return unscrewed and overfilling our unit with Freon that the 4th tech had to remove from our system. Upon leaving last night I was told that everything was corrected. Today - my home is slowly creeping up in temperature (presently 80 degrees inside, while set to 72). The company keeps trying to sell me a "maintenance plan" and I keep reiterating to EVERY one who pushes it that we have been getting tune ups/cleanings elsewhere and will only use them for warranty issues since we have had NOTHING but problems with them."

We were under warranty, but they still ended us charging us $1300 for blower replacement and our system still wasn't working properly. So they said our TXV was broken and it would require thousands more. So we called a few other companies. One company said our control panel was broken and quoted us $1.5k. Another company said we need our WHOLE system replaced for 14000. Our system is only 6 years old. It is a new system. Finally, somehow I found James and his family business. He came and said the blower was on the wrong setting. He readjusted the setting and now it's working perfectly fine. And all he charged us was the diagnostic visit -- for less than a tenth the price others quoted. And the other companies would not have even fixed the problem. "Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. "I have never dealt with this company but on November 9th 2024, I was in Arizona on vacation and I noticed a charge on my card from this company. Like I said I don't even know who this company is. I don't live anywhere near berks county pa. I don't understand why this would happen and I am quite annoyed"
