Whitestone Heating and Cooling

Posting this review it is something I do gladly. Oscar the owner of the WhitestoneHVAC replaced my old central AC system for a new one. He is very responsive, respectful and professional. But the most important thing is that he literally saved my live and my family’s live. As soon as he got into my house basement he said that he smelled a gas leak somewhere in the house, well, that was something that some other people that were fixing something at my home were telling me before over the years and because of that reason years ago the PSEG guy came to check and never found a gas leak, and that’s what I explained to Oscar but he insisted that I have to call right away PSEG for them to send someone right away and find where was the problem. He even gave me PSEG phone number from top of his head. Oscar had to stop his job and come another day to finish his job, but he waited for PSEG inspector that came 30 minutes after I placed the call and at the beginning of the inspection he was not able to find the gas leak but Oscar said to him straight forward that he needed to keep looking because he had no doubt that there was a gas leak in the house. Finally the PSEG guy found the gas leak of 20% leaking which is quite a lot. Then I got a plumber who fixed the problem and Oscar came to finish the job another day. Oscar is just one of the kind, you can see right away that he really cares and he is proud of what he does. He not only did an excellent job at replacing my Central AC system but also he saved me money from any further gas leaks and the most important thing is that now I can fell safe and relieved.

My gas boiler stopped working. I wanted to find a local contractor and came across Whitestone Heating and Cooling. After some research I read their reviews which were all excellent. So I called and Oscar came to my home. He and his partner looked at it and thought the leak was caused by a problen that renders the heater unrepairable. After relighting the pilot light he made a slight adjustment to the valve which stopped the leak. He could have just told me the heater was cracked and useless just to have me buy a new one to make himself more money but he didn't which i was so very grateful. He's coming back to put a sleeve in the chimney. I recommend Oscar and Whitestone Heating and Cooling to anybody who needs help with their heating or cooling systems. Today its so hard to find a contractor who above all is honest and wont take a person to the cleaners. Rest assured you can trust this one. Thank you again, Oscar. God Bless.

Oscar was amazing. After determining that the wrong air handler was ordered (not their fault, third party did the quote and ordering) he was able to get our old and broken AC working short term until the right parts (that he specified) can be available.

I really didn't want to add a review because I wanted to be selfish and keep this a secret for myself but God told me to share! Usually you get plumbing companies that show up, drain your pockets, rip you off and maybe make a bigger problem. Whelp, Oscar showed up to help with our hot water heater and repaired within a day. He's dependable, knowledgeable and pleasant. When I called with another urgent issue he took the time to walk me through step by step over the phone. The service I received was excellent. This company is professional, experienced and honest. In my opinion Whitestone is by far the BEST AC and Heating Company in the state of NJ.

Oscar was very easy to communicate and work with. He was even able to come out and look at my AC unit within days of me contacting him. So far everything is working better than ever and we've even made plans to review my unit next year to ensure everything is still running as it should. Oscar was exceptional in repairing my AC unit. I called him on a Friday afternoon and he diagnosed the issue right over the phone. He would have came out the same day if it wasn’t due to the rain. Instead he came out Saturday morning and fixed the issue in about 30 minutes. The price was more than reasonable.I would highly recommend him to anyone.

It went great. Whitestone let me know the furnace needed to be replaced they sat down and told me all of the options available along with the cost. I researched the cost with others in my area and they beat all other pricing and was able to get the work done rather quickly. They were great!
