Bruce Schmidt Moving provides moving of single pieces, complete households, and pianos. We also provide partial or complete packing service. We specialize in antiques. I have been in business full-time since 1980. All of my work in the last 32 years has been referral only. In the past few years some of my customers have posted us on Angie's List.
"I cannot say enough positive things about this moving service and have been telling anyone I meet. I found the name after some intense research and calling various other companies. Tim with Bruce Schmidt was professional, friendly, and very responsive. The estimate I received from him was about 1/3rd of what I was hearing from other companies with more marketing. I was shocked and prepared myself for the actual cost to be quite a bit higher. The three-man team (including Tim) showed up promptly and had me moved in about three hours, with the cost LOWER than the estimate. They were very careful with my things, wrapped everything, and made sure to ask where I would like them in my new home. They even disassembled and reassembled the couch I didn’t think to take apart, no questions asked. All workers were polite and knew what they were doing. Highly, highly recommend!"

"They were hired to deliver high end furniture. The delivery guys were not careful. They damaged all the items. George Moving refused to reimburse . The customers were present and witnessed them do it first hand. It was noted on the delivery slip. George moving offered to pay 37.00 in damages. Goods were worth 3,000. They charged me 470.00 for the delivery. I tried to dispute payment on my credit card to at least re coup 470.00 and they committed fraud and lied to credit card company and stated they delivered the items with no damage. I would NOT recommend using them for any moving or deliveries. They have had a bad reputation within the designer business for years now. I was able to witness how they managed to get this reputation. I am stuck paying 3,000 out of pocket"
