Erik's Hauling and Moving

They guys did a nice job. It took about 3-4 hours and two dumpsters to haul away the material. The only problem was they borrowed a trash can (new one) and they left an old one that was cracked and nothing like the one they borrowed. However, not a big deal. I can buy a new one.

Erik himself was one of the two movers. Two days after the move, I discovered that my mother's new La-Z-Boy recliner had been damaged during the move; specifically, a sizable hole had been poked in the side of the chair. It was the side of the chair that faced the wall in my mother's bedroom so I did not notice it immediately. I left several voice messages that were not returned. On two occasions, I spoke with an employee who assured me that he would contact Erik immediately and have him return my call. He never did. During the next phone call, the employee told me that he would contact the reulphosterer the company used to repair damaged furniture. The fellow called me and asked me to send him a photo of the damage that occurred to the chair during the move which I did. When I did not hear back from the reulphosterer within several days, I called him and was informed that he could not fix the hole and that he had told Erik that he could not fix it. Despite several additional calls to Erik's during which I have left voice messages, I have not heard back from Erik or any other employee. If you value anything you need moved, do not use this company. The company should stick to hauling. It has no business advertising itself as a mover.

Erik's team showed up as scheduled. Upfront with details. No surprises. The guys worked hard and no issues. Removed 4 trucks of stuff. Well done and would recommend.

These guys were great!  My mother and I hired them to clean out my brother's apartment after he passed away.  They were early and hustled through what was probably well over 100 garbage bags (contractor size) and other big items.  They needed to make three trips total, but the owner took the truck to dump it while his co-worker stayed behind and continued moving stuff out of the house into the yard.  It was a very smooth process and they were done in about two hours.

It was great. They were really funny. The banter between them was cute. There was a man and women who did the work. They were very pleasant. They were so nice.

Eric was very responsible and performed the work as we had discussed. Overall i was pleased with the service and would use him again.

I was a little nervous not using a national name moving company but I decided to go with Erik after reading the reviews for him here. They were fairly punctual for a Saturday morning (10-15 min after scheduled time but acceptable). They were very professional, friendly, and courteous. I used a major moving company a year earlier to move to a new residence and they were grumpy and upset if things didn't move on a strict time schedule, very military like. I was already stressed out and they didn't help. These 2 guys were nothing like that. They told me that they were here as long as I needed them and waited for me at Bed Bath and Beyond as I picked up protective felt pads to use under the legs to protect the wood floors. They protective wrapped and strapped down and each piece. It was tight getting the two larger pieces maneuvered to go up the steps to the second floor, but they thought each move methodically and took extra time and care not to damage my newly refinished wood steps (they set down padding and tried the move from different angles). It was even a little tight in the upstairs hallway. The move was for 2 men for 3 hours for $367. But I also had them move a few other pieces of furniture in the house that I couldn't move myself. They went into a fourth hour which added another $65 to bring the total cost to $402. That extra charge was well worth it getting the other pieces of furniture moved. Had I not had those extra moves done, it would have cost exactly what they quoted me. I am very satisfied and I would use them again.

WENT VERY VERY WELL. Erik is prompt, efficient and very professional. Call him, you won't be disappointed. I will call Erik again should the need arise. Prices are definitely the best around.

It went very well! I called Erik on Thursday, and spoke with him directly. He gave me an estimate for demolishing and removing an old metal shed and its remaining contents. He said he could come Saturday morning and did show up on time. Erik and his coworker quickly got to work, and tore down and disposed of the shed and everything in it in less than hour. They left the worksite very clean, and were friendly and easy to deal with. I'd been putting this project off for awhile, and it was so easy with Erik's help I wish I had done it quite awhile ago. I will definitely be calling Erik in the future and have already spoken with him about another hauling job.

Very well. We called on Sunday, talked to Erik himself and they were there as promised on Tuesday morning. It was a pain moving some of the things we had (had to take doors and windows out) but they got it all done promptly and well. Very nice folks to deal with, obviously concerned with customer services.

They did a great job. They were prompt, very courteous, and nothing was broken.

This was the first time I have ever hired movers and I was nervous. I have heard the horror stories, but these guys were awesome! To start, Eric was wonderful to work with. Every call was answered or quickly returned and the day before the move he called to verify we were good to go and let me know when the movers would arrive. John and Tom showed up promptly at 9 am and despite a constant rain that started about 10:00, had the old place loaded and ready to go by about 10:45. They worked steadily through the rain getting things unloaded at the new house. I had just had the hardwood floors refinished and put ram board down to the protect them. They put things exactly where i asked, not sitting anything on the bare floors. And when they discovered that my couch would not fit through the living room doorway, John was easily able to remove the window to get it in that way! Worked like a charm! They finished up about 12:30 and I couldn't be happier. If I ever need movers again, Eric will be the first call I make. They were courteous and respectful of my belongings and just did an overall great job.

It went great! From the start, Eric was very responsive to my initial call and came out to remove the junk almost immediately.

Eric and his partner were professional, efficient, personable and did a wonderful job. The transformation is amazing and there is a lot of space in the basement and garage thanks to Eric's Hauling. My mother and father saved everything so there was 40 years worth of stuff to get rid of.



I plan to use them again and will recommend them to my friends, neighbors and family.

They were very responsive and were able to provide service the next day after I called. This company had a pretty good price compared to what everyone else was doing. I helped them load everything on the truck and the job went as expected.

Erik was able to fit me in at the last minute, once he arrived as scheduled he made quickly removed all the stuff. It was so efficient!

Erik gave us an estimate then showed up the next day in a truck specifically designed for loading and transporting junk. He and his helper were very friendly, worked quickly and efficiently.
