"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. "The crew removed the plantings and brick borders from the front and both sides of our house. This included two large bush stumps as well as a 50 year old rhododendren bush that was too close to the house. They graded all of the old and new topsoil away from the house, laid down landscape fabric, planted new colorful bushes, and mulched everything with layers of black mulch. They reused many of the existing bricks for a border along the walkway and the one side of the house. They hauled away all of the debris and old bricks that were not used."
