"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. They were professional and friendly and did a wonderful job on all of the aspects of the project. Communication with them was easy, clear and accurate. This was a big job that took ~7 weeks to complete. "I have been dealing with water coming in my basement since 1996 when I purchased my home. I called the phone number and Bill promptly answered my call! Bill scheduled a visit to my home and studied my dilemma. He told me he could fix this water issue for me and could do this from the outside of my home. He quoted me a price that was a fraction of the cost of the other big water companies where you never see the owner. Bill is a wonderful communicator answering my questions and he and his team were on time and worked diligently and solved my water dilemma! After digging along the foundation, they found 3 holes in the block where water was entering my home! They repaired these holes with hydraulic cement and then tarred the foundation! My water dilemma is now solved for the first time in 27 years. I would HIGHLY recommend Bill - Swaskoski Solutions. They were extremely respectful of my property and very trustworthy.
