"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. They were professional and friendly and did a wonderful job on all of the aspects of the project. Communication with them was easy, clear and accurate. "I recommend Clarke and his masonry business without reservations. His crew led by Josh could not have done a better job repointing our (old) all brick house in Bellevue. This was a big job that took ~7 weeks to complete. The cost - given the size of the job - was reasonable and fair, and Clarke was very flexible with scheduling the work; he kept me up to date on the status of the project before the work started and during the job itself with at least weekly calls. Told us that it wasn't a problem now and how to know if it was becoming a more serious issue. Also examined some support posts to assess if they had moved. Overall we learned a bit more about our basement and house construction, and they did not charge us for the visit because the issue was not serious at this time. Great experience!"
