I had extremely damaged steps that were originally created with versaloc blocks. My walkway also needed replaced as it was sloped and difficult for me to walk on. Nick and his crew did an incredible job. They were extremely professional and courteous. They had the job done in 2 days. He was not the lowest bid I received. However, sometimes getting what you want far exceeds the cost.

All work was performed in a professional manor. The old concrete sidewalk and patio were removed and replaced in three days. The final product looks great and drains well.

The job went very well. Nick and his crew were punctual and very efficient. Nick has the right equipment for the job including a backhoe with a blade on the front. This got the demolition work done in 1 day. The guys on his team are very polite and were friendly with neighbors even when they were working very hard. I also appreciated Nick's detailed estimate that provides specific information about the scope of work. Watch out for estimates without the level of detail that Nick provides.

I called Nick Scotti and had an estimate within a couple days. They said that lead time to start work was 6-8 weeks. 7 weeks later they started work. Demolition of existing concrete was done the first day, concrete was poured, sealed, and everything cleaned up by the fourth day. 7 days after they started work I could drive on my new driveway. They were very professional, fast, and it looks GREAT. I will say it was a bit more money than I expected but as they say, you get what you pay for, and the price wasn't out of league compared to other estimates I got.

Extremely pleased! Project size about 80ft by 12ft. Five or six man crew arrived around 6:30am and worked until around 4:00pm. Project took two days to complete. Crew was extremely professional.

Nick Scotti & his crew replaced our asphalt driveway this summer with beautiful exposed aggregate and stamped concrete. We can say he treated this project as if it were HIS own home. This was a really big job and we liked Nick's approach to the project. He made recommendations about the retaining wall and how we would address the porch, steps and sidewalks. Nick was the concrete contractor that showed up that I felt I connected with. That is important to me that you have a connection with your contractor. Nick and his crew were great!! They started digging out and forming on a typical rainy/gloomy day in Pittsburgh. Just a typical construction job in my family. If it wasn't for the snow we had on the second day the job, it would have been done in two days. I couldn't believe how fast the project went considering the weather. The work done looks incredible. I enjoyed working with Nick and his crew.

Nick scheduled my job within a month of the original estimate. He and his crew did a terrific job. They do a lot of work in city neighborhoods and were able to deal with the complexities of working on a very busy Squirrel Hill street. They made fast progress and the driveway looks terrific. They came back after a month to seal it. I paid slightly more than the estimate from a competitor but once I met Nick, I knew that I could trust him. His company honored my Angie's List coupon.

It went perfectly! Incredibly! We had the (steep!) front steps of our house and a few pads of concrete replaced with aggregate concrete. From the moment Connie called to talk about the job to the time that Nick showed up to give us the estimate to the time when Nick and his crew showed up to do the work, this has been an absolutely perfect experience. I cannot believe how well everything has gone and how beautifully the steps turned out. Not only did they replace the steps, but they fixed a few problems and made what I consider a little piece of art in the way they form the steps at the top where they meet up with the landing. I think the curves they added and the steps themselves are just stunning. Sometimes when you call contractors for estimates, you never hear back. Connie called shortly after I asked them to contact me. Then Nick came when he said he was going to come, even though it was the most torrential downpour ever, and the crew came on time every day to do the work. I couldn't believe how quickly they worked and how efficiently and courteously they worked as well too. This team is professional and thoughtful. Even though I had lots of questions about the right thing to do and the timing, Connie never batted an eye and returned my calls back very promptly. I felt like I was dealing with family! The end result is just gorgeous and I have gotten many many compliments from friends and neighbors. I would not hesitate to hire Nick and his team for any job!

We could not be more pleased with how things turned out. The driveway is beautiful as well as the new stoop with a brick border. Nick and crew do amazing work which is not only functional but is a work of art. On top of that , the price was fair and the crew was a pleasure to work with. I will always turn to Nick for my concrete needs.

The quality of the work was excellent! Office staff provided excellent communication as to when the work would be done. The work was done on .the promised date and the cleanup went well

I am very happy with the work. The wall looks great and the steps are very safe and the proper size. The old steps had been poured over 50 years ago and were not the correct depth and were not safe. The walkway is swirled so that it is safe for the winter. They patched the wall next to the steps also. The crew came on time and worked carefully and were efficient. They were pleasant to talk to. Nick Scotti answered all my questions in detail. They cleaned the area and returned my front yard to good condition so I can do the planting I had planned to do.

Nick has been my cement contractor for the past 30 years. I have 10 rental properties in Shadyside and Squirrel Hill, so he has done every project imaginable- big and small. Nick is a true craftsman. He takes an ordinary job and makes it look extraordinary.  This recent job was to construct a walkway between 2 houses in order to create a water barrier to keep both basements dry. He installed 2 trough type drains running across the width of the walkway and he sloped the walkway very slightly  so that water runs away from the house on both sides. He made a  beautiful curvature design connecting the walkway with the front patio. He takes such pride in his work... even when it's "just rental property" I really appreciate that!

The biggest job Nick has done just prior to the walkway was to bust up an entire basement floor, lower it 12" and pour a 2622 sq ft new concrete floor. He is coming back to acid stain and seal it once the plumber is done. I can't wait to see the finished project!  He has also done steps, sidewalks, a raised, stamped courtyard patio, etc.

Nick and his crew are extremely professional. They are great dealing with tenants and neighbors and working in cramped city spaces.
