I discovered that I had some extensive dry rot in my roof.  I was frantic. I needed to get the roof replaced fast.  I called about 8 contractors and left messages for them to call me back so that I could get a bid for repair and replacing my roof.  Only three  bothered to call me back and all 3 gave me a bid.  Two of the bidders said that they couldn't get on my roof until November or December.  I had never used Angie's List before but decided to check it out.  I looked through the listings for roofing contractors and read the reviews.  I decided to call Roof Tech Specialties even though they were located about 60 miles away.  I got ahold of Jamie Stepp.  He told me that he would come by at 1:00 the next day to give me a bid.  The next day at 12:30 he was considerate enough to  call  me to let me know that he would be about 45 minutes later than 1:00.  When he got there, he did a thorough inspection of my house and gave me a bid that was acceptable to me an my wife.  I asked him how soon they could get started.  He told me in two weeks.  I was elated.  A couple days later Jamie called me and asked if they could get started on  the next day.   WOW!!   The crew arrived on schedule and went right to work.  The job took 3 days and these were the hottest days of this Summer.  I supplied the crew with Ice water that was much needed.  I will have to say that all of the crew we really great.  Jamie over saw the work and worked along with the crew.  I am very pleased with the job that they did.  They cleaned up after themselves and there was not a trace of the old roofing left any where around my property.  I have a two and a half car garage that also needs a new roof and Jamie and his men are going to replace that roof soon.  I will certainly be recommending  Roof Tech Specialties to anyone else that I know that is needing a new roof.

They put in a temporary patch until they were able to redo the entire roof a few days later (as the prior roof was installed incorrectly). "I have to say, James is awesome! He was very professional, affordable, very nice and kind. We had a leak in our roof. He came out right away to do an estimate. When I called and hired him he came right away to cover the area with a tarp. He set the time to fix it and was here when he said he would be here. I waited a few days to write the review because it hadn't rained. Well it has now and we are dry in the house! He also did a few other things on the roof to keep it from leaking elsewhere. He completed the work within the estimate. I would recommend and hire James again."
