"The good experience with Raindrop started with the estimate; Lee was knowedgeable and up front with me about the need to fix my chimney before they could do the roof work; neither of the other roofing contractors had mentioned that. When I accepted their bid, but the work couldn't start for over a month, they held the original price even though the cost of materials had just gone up. When they came to do the work, they were courteous and always willing to answer any questions I had about the process. And Ryan, the owner, is a real sweetheart; he came by at the end to check and make sure I was satisfied, which I definitely was. I discovered that I had some extensive dry rot in my roof.  I was frantic. I needed to get the roof replaced fast.  I called about 8 contractors and left messages for them to call me back so that I could get a bid for repair and replacing my roof.  Only three  bothered to call me back and all 3 gave me a bid.  Two of the bidders said that they couldn't get on my roof until November or December.  I had never used Angie's List before but decided to check it out.  I looked through the listings for roofing contractors and read the reviews.  I decided to call Roof Tech Specialties even though they were located about 60 miles away.  I got ahold of Jamie Stepp.  He told me that he would come by at 1:00 the next day to give me a bid.  The next day at 12:30 he was considerate enough to  call  me to let me know that he would be about 45 minutes later than 1:00.  When he got there, he did a thorough inspection of my house and gave me a bid that was acceptable to me an my wife.  I asked him how soon they could get started.  He told me in two weeks.  I was elated.  A couple days later Jamie called me and asked if they could get started on  the next day.   WOW!!   The crew arrived on schedule and went right to work.  The job took 3 days and these were the hottest days of this Summer.  I supplied the crew with Ice water that was much needed.  I will have to say that all of the crew we really great.  Jamie over saw the work and worked along with the crew.  I am very pleased with the job that they did.  They cleaned up after themselves and there was not a trace of the old roofing left any where around my property.  I have a two and a half car garage that also needs a new roof and Jamie and his men are going to replace that roof soon.  I will certainly be recommending  Roof Tech Specialties to anyone else that I know that is needing a new roof.

"Pfeifer Roofing is courteous, professional and prompt. I was given a free evaluation of my roof, shown samples of the products they use and pamphlets for their policies and products. The free estimate was detailed with multiple options for various avenues for next steps. The installation foreman and crew itself were incredible and communicated with me multiple times throughout the four-day roofing/gutter install, sharing their noticings while working and asking me for my input and preferences. They worked hard to clean up after each day, and the final result is fantastic."

"I had eight estimates to do the job, they were the 7th. Estimates ranges from $60k for aluminum down to $30k for the same job they did for $20k. Felipe always answers his phone so don't know what happened with the bad review someone gave them. Our roof is incredibly steep and very large with dramatic lines, being a one level house. The crew was lovely, I left my doors unlocked so they could use the facilities. Not at their request, but at my insistence. By the way, the big selling point for another bid was they brought their own port-a-potty. For 10K more. Expensive potty! They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I had a leak where one corner of the gutter wasn't completely calked, they responded immediately. I had reservations, going from shake to shingle, about loosing the architectural aspect of the roof, it turned out beautiful. I'm an analyst (hence the 8 bids) but am so happy to have hired them. In all the contractor experiences we've had in this house, theirs was the best.

"I needed a new roof, new gutters and an exterior paint job this spring. I did a bunch of research and chose JLV because they could do all of the work and had good reviews on Yelp and Angie's list. I have a 6000 sq ft roof and I wanted Malarkey shingles. JLV is Malarkey certified and trained. Asael responded to my quote request quickly as well as to my many questions, some of which required changes to the quote. Once the jobs started, communication between the crews and me and Luis, the supervisor and me were very good. I knew what was going on all the time. I'm very pleased with the work I got and will recommend them in a second."

"I have to say, James is awesome! He was very professional, affordable, very nice and kind. We had a leak in our roof. He came out right away to do an estimate. When I called and hired him he came right away to cover the area with a tarp. He set the time to fix it and was here when he said he would be here. I waited a few days to write the review because it hadn't rained. Well it has now and we are dry in the house! He also did a few other things on the roof to keep it from leaking elsewhere. He completed the work within the estimate. I would recommend and hire James again."
