Luis Esparaza and his crew replace 2 (upstairs and downstairs) complete HVAC systems with new duct work and insulation. 2 attic spaces and new return air vents. Very large job. They began spec'ing out the project 3 days prior and sent a crew of 8 and got the job done in one day. Excellent work, excellent crew and amazing service. We used Luis on a job previous with my mother-in-law's house and he went above and beyond on that project as well. Thanks Luis!

Highly, highly recommended. Luis Esparza and Air Smart Systems have been amazing to work with. Replacing a central air system can feel scary...and a little intimidating. Their professionalism shown through every step of the process. I reached out to Luis last week after another company bid $13k to replace my 20-year old heat and air system. Luis stopped by the next morning, made his notes, and later that day sent his bid: it was roughly half the price of the first company...and with a top-of-the-line Trane system! It is a real blessing to find small businesses like Air Smart, and men like Luis who focus on delivering quality products and installation services, as well as top-notch customer service. I appreciate that Luis and his team showed up in masks, as safety is so important these days. They covered the floors leading from the front door to the attic with heavy tarps and they cleaned up after the work was done. The old system was hauled away minutes after it was taken down. Amazing. Right now (Spring and early summer) is the time to replace a central heat/air system in North Texas...don't wait until your old system breaks down in the middle of August to call Luis...he'll be busy then! If you need excellent service/replacement of your central air system, skip the big companies with their big, inflated prices. Call Luis at Air Smart Systems, 817-401-7248. Hot Babies! My daughter and grandchildren came over because it was hot in their house. I recommended that they call Luis at Air Smart Systems, AirSmartAir.com.
Luis responded promptly and said they had a freon leak and the freon metering device was bad. He said they could replace the cooling coil, but due to the age and old type freon, they should really consider a new system. So, the son-in-law said he was going to call four or five companies. "Due diligence", he called it. Anyway, after all that, he found that Air Smart gave them the best value after all. I guess the old man still knows something.
The son-in-law said not only was the price great, but he really trusted Luis. He gave Luis the key to the house, so he could replace the system while they were on vacation.
When they got back everything looked great and the air conditioning felt a lot more comfortable than before. Best of all, Papa, didn't need to lend them any money. Haha.

Air Smart was the 4th in a series of Fort Worth residential HVAC contractors that I interviewed and recieved proposals for the renovation of our home HVAC system. I cannot say enough about Luis Esparza. He was incredibly thorough in his evaluation, very knowledgeable about the industry and the product/service that , exceptionally considerate in his attention to detail, and very patient about the requirements I imposed on him. He and his crew were very professional in their approach to the removal of my old system and installation of the new. If you are considering refurbishing your heating and air conditioning equipment, Air Smart is certainly one of the the companies you should interview.

We have a had an ongoing problem with excessive moisture leakage from our AC and uneven coverage and cooling. It has been looked at a number of times. Fixes provided previously addressed the visible symptoms. Luis Esparza from Air Smart looked at the system and was able to identify for us what the underlying issue was with the system and explain it in terms a layman could understand. He didn't try and sell a quick fix. He explained that the current system works and will for another 2 - 4 years. But when it does wear out, its replacement needs to be installed in a different place in the house that will allow for adequate vent placement, which our current system does not. Luis was very knowledgeable and thorough. He gave us the right solution even though it won't make him a penny for at least a couple of years. I was very impressed and when it is time to replace the current system we will definitely be calling Luis/

I contacted Luis on Memorial Day. I felt bad since it was a holiday, but I had realized for the previous few days that air was blowing but not cooling. Therefore, I wanted to make sure this was fixed before the real Texas summer hit. Luis was very courteous and respectful when I called, and we set up an appointment for him to come out the very next day. Unfortunately, he told me the motor on the compressor had seen better days. It would either be a patch job or a replacement, and either one would be pricey, but the replacement of course would be more expensive. He worked up multiple quotes for me. I knew the AC was as old as the house, which was built in 1998, and so I had been expecting to replace the AC soon; I just thought I could get one more year out of it. Alas, it was not to be, so I told Luis to go ahead and set up the appointment to replace my old Trane with a new Trane. His crew came out the next day to take out the old and put in the new. They replaced the outside unit and the coil in the attic. I didn't opt for the thermostat or furnace since those were both in decent shape. My dad was there while they did the work, which took up a good part of the day. I now have the piece of mind of a new 10-yr warranty on a new AC unit. Luis was very communicative and responsive throughout the process.

Angie's List to the rescue once again. It's amazing just how many things need attention when you put your house on the market. Low and behold just when we thought we had everything in order the ac drain lines developed a problem and started to overflow through the backup lines leading outside of the house. This is not ordinarily that big of a deal but when you are showing your house that same afternoon you'd like everything to be perfect.
We tried calling the company we had used in the past but were told it would be two days before they could come out. At that point we immediately went on Angie's List and found Luis Esparza and Air Smart Systems. He had great reviews and was local. We called and explained our dilemma. Luis was remarkable. He assured us that he would be at our house and have the problem resolved before the showing that evening. He got here a few minutes before his original estimate and quickly identified the problem. Not only that, he showed me how I could actually do the main repair if I wanted in order to save a few bucks. With his expert advice I started on a drain issue under a sink while he went in the attic to fix the pitch on the lines themselves.
Within an hour not only was the problem solved but Luis was offering to come back and do a few other minor tweaks to improve the overall performance or tell me how I could do them myself if I'd prefer that option. What started out as panic earlier in the day turned into a mere $148 fix and a wealth of tips that I can use from now on.
If you are in need of an honest, reliable and experienced air conditioning and heating man then Luis Esparza is your guy. My only disappointment is that we didn't know about him sooner. We told Luis that when we move down to central Texas he needs to extend his coverage area!
Oh, and when we checked our former service company's reviews on Angie's List we were appalled at what we saw. Trust me, you won't be disappointed with Air Smart Systems.

We called in on Friday and they were able to schedule an appointment for us on Monday. Louis arrived on time and was very friendly. After looking at the job he was very honest and let us know the our problem wasn't as bad as we thought. He gave us several pricing options. He had the parts on hand so everything was done very quick and painless.

One evening a few nights ago my family was preparing for a garage sale. We were really busy putting stuff outside, anticipating an early morning crowd and it started to rain. What? There was only 10% chance and it had to rain on our stuff?!?! Then my daughter started yelling that water was dripping out of a can light upstairs in the loft area. At first I thought our roof must be leaking. That's not good! Then I went into the attic and found that the air conditioner was causing the leak. There was a PVC joint loose and instead of going into the drain tray, the water was dripping onto the plywood floor and traveling to a can light. So I put a bowl under the pipe so it would not continue to go down the ceiling. Then I called Air Smart Systems late that evening and Luis told me he would be out the next day since I had the water under control. We hired Air Smart Systems to put in a different air conditioning/heating unit in another part of our house this summer and I was very pleased with their work and price. But the system needing work now was put in by another company over a year ago.
The next day Luis and Travis from Air Smart Systems showed up when they said they would. They worked on the air conditioner but the real problem was a slow drain in the kids' bathroom that was causing the water from the air conditioner to not drain properly. It created pressure that forced the water outside and even back into the attic. I had put a plant outside where the water was dripping because I thought that was normal - oops! Well the plant looks good but Luis told me that anytime water is dripping from outside pipes to call because something is not right with the system (I now know this). Air Smart Systems cleaned out the clogged drain in the bathroom and repaired the drain line. Then they inspected all three of my heating and cooling systems and replaced the air filters. They did all of this and spent a good part of their afternoon here all for a great price and on a unit they didn't originally install.
There are air conditioning and heating companies all over the metroplex and we have used many of them. However, it is difficult to find one like Air Smart Systems who are trustworthy, reliable, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and even pleasant to talk to. I would definitely recommend them!

When your entertainment area is hot, it's an emergency isn't it? When my husband can't watch his favorite sports events, the whole world is affected in our household. Our air conditioning system upstairs wasn't keeping up during the extreme heat. At nights it seemed to do better. When we called Air Smart Systems they suggested that we get our system "tuned up" and even offered us a $25 coupon. I have been in the insurance business for many years and have experienced many service companies over the years. I found the team at Air Smart to be knowledgeable, competent, and caring, plus their prices were very affordable. They explained how our system works, how to keep it running, and recommeded a plan of acton on gettfing our old system running again. They found a Freon leak and provided estimates for replacing the cooling coil and complete system, since we have the old type Freon that is being phased out. We asked them to add Freon, thinking we might be able to wait until next summer before having to replace our old system. Air Smart did a great job and we highly recommend them.

Luis sets the standard for professionalism and customer conscientiousness. He efficienty found and corrected the problem, took the time to show me the failed contactor, gave me an overall assessment of my system after some preventitive maintenance, and was very considerate throughout the process. Nice to have a cool house again and to know a trustworthy HVAC professional.

He was VERY professional in taking care of my system. Walked me through each step. Was compassionate to my needs, since I am disabled. He really showed that he was there to take care of the problem to my satisfaction. He went the extra mile which is rarely seen these days. I will recommend him to anyone and everyone! My A/C unit and heat pump began shutting off in the middle of the night and not coming back on until morning. I called Luis and he was out to inspect it within 2 hours. He determined there was a small amount of ice on the coils and added freon and we were cooling down within minutes. We also determined the thermostat (touch screen) was not functioning properly. Luis ordered a replacement thermostat from the manufacturer and came back the same day to install it. The price was more than reasonable and Luis made sure everything was programmed and running properly.
With a terminally ill pet in the house, getting the a/c working quickly was a top priority, especially in 104 degree heat. I could not have been happier. I will definitely be using Air Smart for all our heating and a/c needs. Thanks Luis!

My Air conditioner stopped cooling during the 100 degree weather and a friend recommended that I called Air Smart Systems, so I did and the service was excellent!!!! from the people on the phone like the dispatch lady that called again to let me know they were on their way, to the technician that came to my house. He was very professional and had an ID Batch, and company uniform and vehicle! ( that was a big deal to me) not to mention that he was extra careful with my floors and carpet and was wearing protective shoe covers. He fixed my unit and replaced some electrical part, performed a tune up, cleaned the coils, and added some freon as well as the filters, they had all the parts on hand when they came out!! Awesome work.... And my house was cool again right away....;) The same I called they dispatched a service tech out to my house, and they assured me that I was going to be comfortable that day and they did meet and exceeded my expectations, just like my friend recommended me with Air Smart Systems I will recommend them to my family nd friends also, Awesome service!!! Overall: Outstanding customer service they exceeded my expectations, on price, how nice they were, Services received and I felt comfortable with them the whole entire time they were at my house and was very happy with the price I paid for the time and work that was performed at my house. My house wouldn't cool and it felt humid all the time. > The master bedroom was always hot and several rooms were uncomfortable. > We also had excessive amounts of dust. > Air Smart Systems replaced my indoor and outdoor units. The little things count in service now a days. When I called, I spoke to the person who came to my house. First we troubleshot the problem to save a service call. When that didn't work, he gave me a time he would be at my house and he was here on time. He poot on little booties to cover his feet so he wouldn't track in any dirt into the house. We was well dressed, well groomed and well spoken. Very knowledgable about the products and especially knowledgeable about the thermostat. He answered all of my questions.
