"Extremely Disappointed with Chimcare’s Service and Product, go with someone else! Our experience with Chimcare started off positively—they did a great job removing a large chimney from our house and installing a gas fireplace insert. Unfortunately, everything went downhill after that. The gas insert they sold us, a Regency brand, has been nothing but a nightmare. Over the last three years, we’ve had to call Chimcare out to repair it at least eight times. Each time, the fireplace works for only a couple of weeks—or less—before breaking down again, often in the same way. Most recently, the ceramic insert they installed broke after just a few days of intermittent use. This strongly suggests that their technicians are not properly trained at installing the ceramic inserts, leading to repeated failures. Because of these issues, we’ve had a functional fireplace for only two months total over the last two years. This failure to provide a reliable product and service has significantly impacted our family. We’ve gone through two Thanksgivings and two Christmases without a working fireplace. To make matters worse, during the major ice storm last year, we were left without the heat the fireplace could have provided—something we should have been able to rely on to keep our home and two small children warm during a power outage. Despite our repeated requests, Chimcare has been incredibly unhelpful in resolving the situation. I’ve had to pester them with calls every few days to get any progress on having Regency honor the warranty. They are completely unresponsive/not-proactive unless I am calling them directly - technician, project planner, and front office are all favorites in my phone - at this point, I’ve had to call daily just to get any updates or action on what should be a simple warranty replacement. Their lack of proactivity and accountability has been exhausting and deeply disappointing and makes it seem like they are not actually trying to honor my warranty and for what we paid for in terms of service. It’s incredibly frustrating to have spent so much money on this installation, only to deal with constant repairs, an unusable product, and a company that refuses to address their technician’s clear errors. While their team is polite when scheduling repairs and when the technicians are present, politeness doesn’t make up for poor service and unreliability. We deeply regret choosing Chimcare for our fireplace installation and strongly advise others to look elsewhere for their fireplace needs."

"All Fuel saved the day! I took my stovepipe apart to clean it and did not realize that the top flange slips down the pipe. I thought that I had pushed the pipe up through the ceiling support box! Had a roofer out who assessed from topside and told me it looked good up there. I called around to other businesses and they “required” a tier 2 inspection for a cost of $359 and additional charge to come back out. All Fuel had me send photos and advised me that the pipe was fine and that I just needed to pull the end of the pipe upward to reconnect! Free of charge! They are reputable and honest and empathetic. I will use them for ANY AND ALL NEEDS! You can trust them. Thank you All Fuel!! Customer service 10 Star"

"I've worked with Evergreen since we purchased our home in 2020. They've done a multitude of projects for us, the most recent being installing an entirely new HVAC system (two units inside and out). They are on time, friendly, courteous, and very professional. They even put up with our rather high-strung little poodle. We had multiple companies bid our job, and we chose Evergreen both because we knew they would do a good job and stand behind their products. We also knew they would be great folks to have in our home doing work. It's never easy when contractors are in your living space, but they make it as pleasant as it can be. "Showed up at 9:40 for 9:40 appointment. Job took 30 min. 2 workers. Nathan answered all my questions about the job and related fireplace issues. Happy to report that he stated when he didn't know the answer in depth, but suggested what may be the source of effects. The job was done quickly, professionally and cleanly. Quoted a list of optional improvements (chimney cap, brick cleaning/seal) and repairs (cement flue cap replacement) that should be considered, but that they not a limitation to safe usage of the fireplace. I would hire again."

"The whole experience started off well we need a fireplace that was leaning falling removed. James suggested that we put in a wood stove that?s what we agreed upon this job came out to around $20,000. He did not come prepared with his own tools. He told us that it would take a weeks time it took multiple weeks time we reached out to him on January 22 of 2025 and here We are May 6 of 2025. We still have not got our inspection. He stated that we could call for it, but we had paid him for it on top of that he got the permits from the county instead of the city. The work that he did was not the work that we had discussed. He told us that he would have a general contractor come in to close the house up inside it he did not. He had one of his workers do it. The work is Shawty. The guy did the best job he could. James does not work well with his employees or his co-owners. This whole experience has been horrible."
