What a wonderful company! We are thrilled by Euro Masonry’s work. They rebuilt our chimney and repaired our nearly 100-year-old fireplaces. We liked the work they did so much that we also used them to tile a bathroom!

Jozo and Kiana Karlovic of Euro Masonry LLC were wonderful to work with in scheduling the rebuild of my chimney. They were friendly and knowledgeable and never kept me waiting. Jozo came to my home when he said he would to look at the chimney and then he provided an assessment of what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. Kiana was prompt and detailed when she emailed the estimate, the agreement and other correspondence. I was unsure of what needed to be done and definitely unwilling to climb on the roof to look. The fellow who cleans my gutters had told me that mortar was breaking away from the chimney bricks. Since the mortar had been tuckpointed more than 35 years ago, a complete rebuild seemed reasonable. Other friends suggested that I might want to consider adding a chimney cap. I asked Jozo and he explained that I didn’t really need one and it would look a bit unusual in this neighborhood, but he would have one fabricated for an additional price if that was what I wanted. That was the kind of honesty I look for in a contractor. Jozo fit me into his schedule and was meticulous in his work and cleanup. The chimney looks perfect and he provided me with before and after photos. He blew away all the fir needles and tree debris from the roof afterward because he’s that thorough. I was extremely pleased with his work and plan to pass his company information along to friends. Euro Masonry is an excellent firm and it was wonderful to work with Kiana and Jozo.

The name Euro Masonry gives the image I have of a European craftsman. Jozo's work matches that description. He was very detail oriented and that concern for detail shows in the finished product. Several neighbors have complemented us on how close the new chimney looks to the original.

Easy! Jozo came to do an estimate, and unlike others I contacted, he went up to the roof to look at the job up close. He originally thought he would have to schedule my job out several weeks, but space in his calendar opened up and he completed the job much sooner than expected. His price beat others’ by several hundred dollars. His estimate included “best case” and “worst case” options so I was pleased he concluded the job fell into the best case scenario. The results look great and everything was left neat and clean. Now we just need some fireplace weather to test it all out.

Jozo came out and removed the planters and the top layer of brick, and refinished the pillars with new brick. His work was very clean and beautifully done. He also spotted a few broken bricks on the perimeter of our walkway and fixed those as part of the job.

Great. He showed up on time for the quote and the work. Clearly explained to me what needed to be done and did it for what I considered a reasonable price. No hassle at all.

Jozo did an excellent job. He tuck pointed the chimney from roof line to the top. He resurfaced the crown of the chimney and fixed the shoulders. He sealed the chimney and installed a stainless steel rain cap. Jozo is highly skilled and has years of experience. He has done work for us before repairing siding and water damage. We would recommend him to others without reservation.

Jozo was responsive to bid and, although very busy - requiring us to queue out some month - he kept us informed on exact scheduling as it became known and was right on the mark with completion. His work is top notch, quick, and priced better that the competition. A real gem in the construction/masonry world.

Jozo did a terrific job on my chimney repair. The quality of workmanship is very high. He showed up on time and got the job done very efficiently. He repaired what was needed and did not try to upsell me on any extra chimney services, as most other bidders did.

Perfect! Jozo supplied stone similar to the ones in other garden retaining walls, removed the existing collapsing wall and rebuilt it with the new stone. It looks great!

There was some delay in the actual work due to backlog, but it was well worth the wait. Excellent workmanship! Jozo was honest about the costly repair required to restore the flagstones. He explained how to do the repair ourselves, and that if we were still interested in his services to give him a call. In other words, no pressure!

Great job by Jozo -- he was out in the cold and rain every day getting our basalt block retaining wall done. The final result looks great, and we get a lot of compliments from the neighbors.

Our fireplace leaked all winter so I had Jozo come out and see what he could do on the exterior of the chimney/fireplace to help water proof it. He cleaned off all the moss, repaired the mortar and applied multiple coats of a waterproofing product. We also had him remove brick from inside our firebox so we could fit a wood stove insert. He kept everything clean, showed up as scheduled, worked hard - I would definitely call him again if needed and recommend him!

Jozo was very professional, both when he came to give the estimate, and then several months later when he performed the work. The chimney looks so much better than before, and Jozo was able to reuse many of the original bricks. He provided additional bricks that matched well with the existing bricks. He also provided chimney caps, which I did not have before. Great experience with them, and I would not hesitate to hire Euro Masonry again in the future.

Working with Euro Masonry was an outstanding experience. Kiana was extremely prompt and helpful in all of our email correspondence. When Jozo came out to do the work, he was thoughtful, friendly, and professional. The work was done exactly as we'd agreed, plus, at no extra charge he added on a couple of extra touches (e.g. mortaring over some spots on the foundation that needed work). Jozo was also clear about work that could be done, but that wasn't critical, which really increased our confidence that he had our best interests as customers in mind, rather than trying to "up-sell." Would definitely rehire, and strongly recommend!
