I hired Brandon to mortar the top brick of our retaining wall and planters. He responded immediately to the request for quote. He returned with a fair price and worked with our schedule. The day of the project, Brandon arrived as scheduled and got right to work. He was very pleasant and clearly enjoys his work. The work was completed on time and he let the site clean. I am already working with him on quote for a second project. I highly recommend Brandon and Portland Metro Masonry.

Brandon and his team rebuilt our chimney this last February as our old one was falling apart due to the mortar deteriorating. Their bid came in well below the other 3 bids we received which gave us a bit of pause, but after talking to Brandon he mentioned that the higher bids might have been because of our metal roof, which some companies just don't want to deal with. We went with them and the rebuild went by seamless with good communication from the company, however 9 months later we had a roof leak that was definitely coming from the chimney area. I called Brandon to let him know and he was there the next morning and fixed the problem. Technically the issue was from our roof flashing, not the chimney counter flashing (so not Portland Metro Masonry's liability), but Brandon fixed it anyways and also said that if it came up again to call him and they'd come back by and remedy it. That kind of customer service is rare these days and while I doubt we'll be getting a chimney rebuild anytime soon, he will be our service for future cleanings as well as my recommendation for anyone needing masonry work. Thanks Brandon, your communication and customer service is second to none. Keep up the great work.

Brandon and Dan replaced a 67yr old block retaining wall and repaired and weather treated large block walls on the house. These two are highly skilled and work together like as a well oiled machine. They listen to your needs and I doubt their quality can be beat.

The young technician was pleasant but my furnace technician said that all the soot from the chimney cleaning was forced down into the furnace, clogging the heat exchanger. The upshot is that I have purchased a new oil burning furnace, probably needed but this forced the issue. Some good and some bad in the situation.

Dan is the chimney sweeper that came to my house. He was very pleasant to work with and did a good job. I plan to use this company again with all my chimney needs.

They cleaned two chimneys and did a good job. They confused me when they suggested cleaning my wood stove chimney by making a plastic tent in my living room and doing it from the stove up! I wasn't happy with that and they changed it, by cleaning it from the roof down. I wish they would of used shoe covers to protect my carpet.

I only had Brandon do an inspection and cleaning and he did a fine job.

Brandon is very hands on and checked on the project several times through the week to make sure that everything was going well. They had to tear down and replace my chimney with new chimney liners, this was 27 courses and they were able to re-use the same brick so that it still matched the rest of the house. This was very important to me so that I didn't have to go through and replace the bricks on the whole house to make it look the same. They also cleaned the brick work on the front of my home to help again with everything looking the same. They were very thorough, and protected the work as it cured because the weather got cold. I was very impressed with the whole team, they were very talented, and they got it all done in 1 week. This was not an easy job, and others didn't even want to do it, but this team had the skill and really did an amazing job. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality masonry work
