They did a beautiful job re-framing the rotted window frames, and the whole thing was very professionally executed. The got right on it, lots of hustle, and their pricing was good. Although I did not have conversation with most of the crew, Hever and his son were very pleasant, polite, and super easy to deal with. Later, if I have more painting to do, I would call them back in a New York minute. You won't go wrong with these guys!"

Victor came out, was on time, was one of the few contractors who took time to throughly walk the job (inside the attic to ensure we had plywood as well as checking out the entire roof) and most importantly he didn’t talk down to me or make me feel uneducated when I was asking questions about the job. We had to go back and forth with our HOA group on acceptable options, Victor was accommodating and helped me to narrow down the best option for our budget and to be compliant. The team that showed up to work were consistently on time, they were courteous with our yard and outdoor spaces and they took the time to interact with our four-legged kiddos (which helped so they didn’t bark like crazy every day they were here). We have received many compliments on our roof so far from our neighbors and I gladly pass along Victor’s contact information. **one additional thing I appreciated during the consultation process was that I was given a folder with examples of the TL roofing system as well information on the options. The follow up via email and phone was outstanding and I would not hesitate to utilize them - in fact we appreciated our experience so much that we have hired the painting crew for our exterior painting needs."

Jaime did some special problem solving when we needed one area moss-proofed at ground level and when we needed them to scrape and seal three layers of old paint, as well as when we needed to match some 17 year old paint. Exterior painting services FAQs
You should paint your home exterior every five to 10 years, on average. Climate and surroundings can affect how well paint holds up. Wood siding will likely need a fresh coat of paint every three to seven years. Paint on brick tends to last about eight to 17 years, on average.
Calculate the square footage of the area you want to paint. Divide the square footage by 350 (the average square footage a gallon of paint covers). Multiply the number of gallons you need by two, as you’ll likely be applying two coats of paint. For a more accurate estimate, subtract the square footage of the windows and doors from the initial square footage total. It’s a good idea to plan for an extra gallon of paint to make sure you have enough to finish the job.
To calculate the square footage of a home exterior, painters multiply the length of the wall by the height of the wall to be painted. Then they add the total square footage for all of the walls to be painted. To calculate the price, they multiply the total square footage by their cost per square foot to prep and paint. Additional costs may factor in such as repairs, additional trim, and walls higher than the first story.
The cost to paint the exterior of a house ranges from $1,900 to $4,500 or about $1.50 to $4 per square foot, depending on the size, height, and complexity of the home layout. Other cost factors include your location, the type of siding (e.g., wood, aluminum, brick, stucco, etc.), and the kind of paint (e.g. oil-based, latex, acrylic, etc.). Painting the trim a different color or painting intricately designed trim can also increase the cost.
You should apply at least two coats of paint when painting the exterior of your house. Two coats of paint provides better durability and more even coverage than just one coat.
