I began painting in 1973 to work my way through college and continued after graduation. I began on old Portland homes and soon perfected the preperation necessary to produce long lasting, quality paint jobs. "These guys did an AMAZING job. I wanted some new awnings before my paint job, and Dan hooked me up with one of his guys who created 3 beautiful awnings for me and fixed up some siding that had rotted before the rest of the painters came in. On a whim, I asked if Dan’s crew could complete the external paint job in time for a big birthday party I was hosting and he managed to knock it out with time to spare WHILE HE WAS HAVING HEART SURGERY. I mean, if that’s not above and beyond I really don’t know what is. The crew was fantastic and accommodating, and they were laughing and seemed to really enjoy the work, which is always a welcome thing to know that the people working on your home enjoy what they do. For a random Angi find, these guys surpassed my every expectation AND did it all at a reasonable cost and within a reasonable timeline. I can’t recommend them enough."

"They did excellent work. We hired Sunshine Painting in 2014 for the same 1960s two-story house and shop on an acre, so we knew we could trust them again. Paul Eang was professional, responsive, and reliable throughout the process. Both times we chose the higher paint quality option, but the other major factor to get a long-lasting result is the prep work, and I don't think any other painter would have been as thorough. Paul spent a week cleaning, scraping, and filling holes and smoothing surfaces before the painting began for these buildings that had not been painted in eleven years. I appreciated his advice regarding which paint color to use where and about dropping our third paint color. I wasn't on site most of the time, but he kept me updated each day with lots of photos and some videos of his work. This experience was positive from the beginning to the end."
