"Hired Neli for a virtual repair of our Whirlpool washer. Tom was VERY knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We came up with a solid diagnosis of my issue and the replacement parts required. Tom advised me to consider the value of repairing, parts costs and time required, vs. a new purchase and the effort to repair was not going to be simple. We chatted about the pros/cons a lot. As the washer was 6+ years old and there were holiday sales I opted to purchase a new unit. This is the 3rd time I have worked with Neli. All instances have been very productive and positive."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

"Terrible company. Possibly a scam. They attempted to sell me a part they didn't even have, and after waiting patiently for OVER A MONTH, I canceled my order. When calling them to confirm, they told me they never had the part to sell to me. What a joke!"

"It went smoothly. They always kept in touch with email's & phone calls. They called 1/2 hour before scheduled time to say they were on their way. The laid down mats to protect my floors. The cleaned out the insert and vacuumed all around so not to spill any debris into the room. They were worth every penny. They said the stove was about 600 lbs. They carefully explained about the EPA needed proof that the stove was removed & destroyed which I had no idea it was needed."

"I had a bad computer board in my oven. they said they would not cover it because they found a roach. This is Florida we have some roaches. i do not have a bug problem. It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

"I purchased a dishwasher and an above-range microwave from Costco, both within a few months of each other. (Rats chewed up my former dishwasher's wiring and ruined the whole unit.) On both of these installations, my experience with A-1 was nothing but very positive. These guys really know their way around kitchen appliances! They had some issues with removing the old microwave, but Cole figured out a workaround and managed to get the thing out. Our only real issue has been with Costco, because the store doesn't bother checking with A-1 before setting a delivery date. Then A-1 has to change the date because they're backed up. That glitch is all on Costco, not A-1. We've had many contractors and installers in our home, but A-1 is the best! You can count on them to work quickly, efficiently, and carefully. "For a recent kitchen remodel I purchased several appliances from Johnson Brothers. After less than a year the induction cooktop began failing repeatedly. Neither Johnson Brothers or the manufacturer's repair service were able to repair the unit. After finally filing a complaint with the BBB the manufacturer replaced the cooktop with a new unit but the issues had not been corrected in the new unit by the manufacturer so I chose to purchase a different more reliable brand. Johnson Brothers were happy to sell me a more expensive cooktop but would not accept the new unopened cooktop for credit towards the new more expensive purchase. It would have cost them nothing to return the new unopened cooktop to their inventory where they could easily have sold it but they chose not to provide that support to me. Their refusal to support their customer led me to purchase my new cooktop from another dealer that offered better customer support. I will not do business with Johnson Brothers again."

"I contracted the services of this company with the total coverage plan for my air conditioning and appliances, I did not see the real reviews before contracting and for two years I was paying on time and they don't want fixed my AC. Just said that I get $500.00 and that I fixed it by myself. It's the worts company."
