Over-all it went well. Had a few glitches with spotty an incomplete walls and trim, but David handled in a timely manner and the work was completed to our expectations.

Overall we are very happy with Intercolor Painting. We received bids from 3 companies. Intercolor Painting's bid was the middle bid. During Steve's (owner) site visit before he submitted his bid, Steve asked several questions about what we wanted the house to look like when he was done, and he offered several very helpful recommendations. In addition to discussing things like how many colors of paint (we chose 2 colors) and how many coats of paint, we also discussed important details like what type of preparation and finish work would be performed (pressure washing, sanding, scraping, caulking, french cut trim details, etc.). Although we opted not to have the house sanded prior to painting, Steve ended up directing his workers to perform much of this work anyway in order to make the final product look much better. Steve was also very helpful in picking out a paint product for the floor of our front porch (we didn't realize it needed a different product than the rest of the house). Steve visited the house each day that his painters were working, and we always felt like the job was under control. At the end of the job, Steve walked around the house with us to look for final details to be cleaned up, and took care of everything we pointed out. I'm sure I'm forgetting other good things about the work Intercolor Paint performed, but the bottom line is that the exterior of our house looks better than it has in roughly 20 years and we are happy.

The job went great. Very responsive to email, and got it done just when I needed it. Two painters came and worked all day and then some. The rooms had not been painted for 10 years and were pretty beat up. Now they look awesome. I will definitely use this company again.

Bought Angies List offer 9/9/16. Emailed provider when still hadn't heard from him by 9/20/16. He emailed back 9/21/16 asking for address so he could look at job, then called me and left message asking if he could do pressure washing 9/23/16 (???-didn't need pressure washing). Husband talked to him and told him job purchased already 2 weeks before was for painting. He said he didn't know anything about that and would get back to us. Called again that afternoon, again asking for address so he could "look at job". Gave it to him, again. Never showed up. Emailed Angies list asking for refund. Don't have time to be bugging people who want work (hence Angie's List deals) to please come and do work for me so I can pay you.

It was okay. I've actually used them once before for the job at the condo I had few years back. In terms of the work they performed, they did a good job. It was a little painful getting time set up with him to actually do the job. It took some back and forth. I think it probably took a month and a half to two months to get it booked and get it done. From the pricing perspective, I would probably say a 4 out of 5.

We hired Steve to do the interior painting. We wanted to have the house painted before we moved in and Steve was able to accommodate our request. He and his crew worked long hours to get the job done in 3 days. They showed up on time and they were very responsive to any specific request we made. We were very satisfied with the qualify of the work. The house looks so much better after the paint job is done.

Steve has good rapport with his crew and strives to get the best results on his job. That means using the weather conditions to determine which exterior or interior job comes next. In my case, Yes, I did do preparation to help ease access around the house. Yes, It was Ok and made sense to leave tarps overnight. So be prepared to express your concerns and needs. Once the job is started, Steve’s expertise gets applied.

Steve has gained a lifetime customer. I had 2 bedrooms , 13 door trims and floor trim all through the house painted. He is very meticulous, courteous and helpful. He is willing to take that extra step if necessary to make sure the work is done properly.He always keeps you updated throughout the process. I also had the railing on our outside deck, the fascia boards, window trim and front door painted. I had shared a color with Steve that I wanted the trim and fascia boards painted in and he said "Can I be honest your selection is just ok, because you want contrast and this color doesn't pop. It is your house but I think you can find something that would look better". I took his advice to heart and he was right I chose a beautiful red and we are so so happy with it. Once I have pictures I will add them. I had discussed with him at one point of possible painting our dark cabinets in the kitchen white and he told me he would not do it because they are nice. He said yes he could make good money doing the job, but no it would be a waste of my money, that is honesty!. Thank you Steve for your professionalism I know it is important to you and you work reflects that.

I received an email stating, "Definitely I will do this painting for you. You’re on 50 miles from my office. I don’t cover jobs on more then 30 miles from my office. I hate to say this but if you like to go ahead for my service I have to charge you $100.00 more. If you don’t like to spend $100.00 more you can call Angie’s list and ask them for refund. We will spend more then 2.5 hours on the road and I have to pay my guys for that.". I requested a refund. Nothing was stated in the big deal that they had a mileage issue, otherwise I would not have bought this deal.

I hired them to do interior painting in my two story entry way. The deal was three painters for one day. They did a great job. They were careful with my furniture and protected the floor and trim well. Most of the painting was two story. They worked all day and I am happy with the results.

Very pleased with the crew's professionalism, quality of work and courtesy extended during the job. Steve was very easy to work with and I highly recommend him for any work you need completed. I felt the price was very reasonable and Steve was able to accommodate some last minute changes. The job was a very large job and it was accomplished in five days. The house hasn't look this good since we moved in. I was pleased with the outcome and the communication of the crew. I strongly encourage you to use Intercolor Painting LLC.

They were able to accommodate my request on a rush basis as I was getting my condo ready for sale, which I was very grateful for. They did an excellent job of painting and left my condo spotless clean when they finished. I couldn't have asked for a better response to my needs and ended up with a beautiful job when done. Steve Moutafov (owner) provided a quote for the job. After analyzing the house, he determined that the 3 wood decks and front of house trim needed a lot of additional attention due to previous painters having done an inferior quality of work, in addition to wood rot. This, obviously was at an additional cost above the quoted base price of $5100.00.. This house was built in the mid-70s and was overdue for paint maintenance. Crew arrived promptly each day and at the end of each day, cleaned up all paint scraps. debris and tools. I have submitted 1 other review on Intercolor Painting services, which was for painting a couple interior rooms; I rated them excellent then as well. Steve is very easy to work with, he's accommodating and will offer his opinion if asked, which I very much appreciated. He went the extra mile to caulk, etc, which I can't say enough about the quality of work they do. I would encourage others to experience for themselves; I don't believe there's a painting contractor anywhere that does a better job prepping and painting. Steve truly cares about the job being done. I'd offer an A+ if I could.

Steve and his helper showed up on time and did a quality job. They did everything you'd expect a quality, seasoned professional to do. Lay down paint coverings, do all the taping necessary, quality cleanup, etc. The job itself was a full day's work, for sure, but they finished on time and didn't take any shortcuts. A quality job in every respect. I highly recommend this company and will do business with them again in the future.

Crew arrived on time, worked diligently. Prepared everything very carefully and protected my home and belongings. Even though I made a mistake with paint and the crew had to quit early one day, they returned and completed the job. All crew were very polite, worked efficiently and I want to highlight that the clean up was excellent, excellent, excellent. Not a drop of paint anywhere it was not supposed to be. Furniture put back. I highly recommend this service. We expect to contact Steve about exterior painting in the future.

Scheduled contractor for house painting under their big deal for $5,150.00. They could not provide painting service prior to the rainy season so we asked for our money back in Oct. We were finally refunded most of the money less $1,000.00 from Angie's List in FEBRUARY (4 months later). Angie's List said we would have to get the rest of the money directly from the vendor. After 2 months (APRIL), the vendor finally refunded a portion of our money - less the power washing that they did. They charged us $750.00 for ONLY power washing. Our house is 2800 sf; 1 story over basement. Would not do business with again. Went with another vendor for our exterior painting and the process was stress free.

Great to work with. Stephen and his crew were amazing. They painted my new loft and did an amazing job. I added stripping of s huge wood beam and despite 100 year old paint, they removed all the Paint. Very courteous and lots of attention to detail. I have a couple of follow ups but I'm sure they will deliver. Thanks again guys!!

Worked nonstop. I'd challenge anyone to hire a company who puts more effort into the prep work. Maybe anyone can paint walls, but in my opinion, the quality of prep, painting & cleanup that inter color painting provides may be impossible to beat. A+ all the way. Highly recommend.

THIS COMPANY IS A NIGHTMARE TO DEAL WITH. We contacted Steve Moutafov of INTERCOLOR PAINTING in the beginning of January to paint our condo before we moved in. He gave us a competitive bid which we accepted after he begged for the job and reassured us that he would do a timely and excellent job. After his crew started the work he doubled the price. It was too late for us to replace him because we had our things in storage and needed to move in by a certain date. There were many problems with his work, and he always complained and tried to blame others for the problems. His crew didn't do proper prep work like TSPing the kitchen and bathrooms and now there are drip marks and inconsistent finishes. New wood doors have drips and goopy paint which he blamed on our carpenter.He was supposed to fix major imperfections in our master bathroom ceiling before painting and didn't. His crew took days to prep but barely showed up the first 2 days and then Steve complained that we only paid for X number of days and he needed more money again.Almost every day we were faced with a new problem and more complaints and whining for money to fix it. Only after hours of arguing and arguing did he finally agree to complete the work for the second price, and even then he refused to do part of the work he agreed to do and did not lower his price for work left undone. He also whined and complained about having to redo work on our stairs, which was sloppy and unacceptable. His crew moved an expensive piece of art and they broke it!!!! After finishing the work he refused to file an insurance claim for the damage and was insulting to us in his response. Needless to say, we will never use Steve and Intercolor Painting, LLC again and we do not recommend this company.

It has been a month since he was over to look at what we wanted done but still no estimate. I will never know how it would have turned out and wouldn't recommend hiring him. UPDATE: Steve did finally get back to me with a reasonable estimate but since it took so long I have hired someone else. He appologized for not getting back to me sooner. He misspelled my email address.

After repeated calls without response, I went with another painter. I have sent multiple emails, now I can not get response for a refund.
