We began our journey as hardwood installers in 2004. Our customers loved us and wanted us to specialize in more surfaces, so we expanded into stone fabrication in 2006. Later in 2010, we started installing tile. We opened our first showroom in 2014. Shortly after, we began working with carpet and vinyl. Since then we've expanded to blinds, and interior design. "My 70 year old living room hardwood floor needed some attention. They sanded it down to virgin wood and filled in any gaps or dings, mindful to keep the tile around the fireplace perfectly flush. If I didn't know any better, I would swear it's a brand new installation. I have a very small coat closet off the front door that I had them leave untouched just to keep some history of what it once was. Excellent work. Professional, responsive, and on-time. If I had anymore hardwood floors, I would definitely call them again."

"Everything went very well. There was a slight hiccup with measurements or something, causing an adjustment in timeframe and material. It took a couple weeks longer than originally planned, waiting to see if the original hardwood flooring was still available, which it wasn't. It wasn't a huge deal, and I wasn't particular about what was used; just wanted a floor. Thankfully my husband was home when they came to do the job the first time and told them no, don't put anything down until you know there's enough to finish the job. Otherwise, they would have had to tear up what they put down and start over. Overall, I'm pleased with J&B and would hire them again."

We hired John Wood of JAW Construction to transform a building shell originally intended to be a shop for building trusses into a small house (officially an auxiliary dwelling unit or ADU) and are thrilled we found him. The job required skills that extended beyond new construction to include the insight, skill and craftsmanship of a highly experienced remodeling expert. He possessed these in spades. Beyond his own expertise, he has assembled a set of sub-contractors that are excellent craftsmen in their own areas of expertise. The job was doubly challenging given that for much of the construction period we were out of state getting our old home ready for sale. This also meant that an extra element of trust was involved. John sent us pictures of the progress, so that we could monitor from a distance. In addition, he was able to identify and rectify several flaws in our design. As with any large construction/remodeling project, there were some unexpected expenses that came up, but John worked with us to help limit cost overruns, sometimes foregoing profits. He was also always up front about the costs of the various components. Our new home is gorgeous and reflects his sharp eye for detail. We couldn’t be happier. Stan has done so many projects around our house (remodeled bathroom, replaced door wall, front door, replaced some of our siding and so much more) and we’ve been so pleased with everything he’s touched, it’s a no brained we let him do our deck too.
