We got daily updates about our job, including pictures and brief descriptions of the days work, which was incredibly helpful while teaching me things that will be helpful in the future. Jackson Construction wasn't the cheapest, however they focus on quality, and this was definitely true for our job. Every job/remodel will have hiccups, but he made sure everything went right, fixed any errors and has a great sense of time. the estimate on how long the job would take was very close to reality, and shockingly reliable, which also speaks to the quality of his work and subcontractors. "We did almost the entire house through Paul. Some of his workmanship - especially the fine details like small paint splatter, garage floor epoxy coat application, and cabinet painting - was 3 stars at first. Other work he did - installing new plumbing fixtures, bathtub sliding doors, sheet metal exhaust for kitchen - were 5 stars. Paul consistently worked to get it right and make me happy. He was always responsive and available. His attitude is 5 starts. He was open about his costs. Some things dragged on but most remodel contractors suffer from this ailment. Because of the scarcity of tradesmen in Bend/Central Oregon, I recommend learning the history about his subcontractors before they start work on your house. Most were good but a couple did not have the right experience."

"Purchased coupon on August 11, 2011.  Because I was remodeling my kitchen myself after work and weekends, I didn't have time to deal with the creating the room drafts, plans, layouts or measurements she required.  I did contact Jill and explain the situation and she was very understanding.  She said because I contacted her, not to worry about the deadline.  I remained in contact with her over the next few years (that's how long it took me) and when I was ready around the start of 2014, she worked hard to provide her new design.
