He was argumentative, to the point of being downright rude and unprofessional, and he never bothered to talk to me about the fact that the unit was slightly too large to fit in the space that I had without making some slight adjustments, or that they could have made it fit by cutting into a closet wall, but for whatever reason they chose not to do anything. He never said it would require reframing the door, which was something they did not do, and I would have to get someone else to do that, so they fabricated a metal panel and put it up, in place of the original door. In the meantime, the project would be left without a finished door. The rep So I was left with an ugly gray panel made out of metal that looks totally out of place on my wood wall."

FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. A 3-ton AC unit is probably too big for a home that’s 1,200 square feet. If you have a 1,200-square-foot home, you likely need a unit that’s somewhere around 1.9 and 2 tons. An AC unit that’s too large will be really inefficient and cost you a lot of extra money on your bills. 

No, it’s not normal for AC vents to drip condensation. A sweating AC vent is a sign of something wrong and can lead to issues like air duct rust or mold growth. Your HVAC unit might not be working efficiently because of a dirty filter or clogged ducts. Alternatively, your ductwork might not have adequate insulation, which allows the cool air in the ducts to meet the humid air outside, causing condensation. 

You can buy R-22 refrigerant for your home air-conditioning system through your local AC repair specialist, who can also refill your R-22 system as needed. You may find that the cost of R-22 has gone up due to shortages as the EPA banned this refrigerant. Ask your pro to inspect your system for any leaks or issues.

A dirty AC filter can lower the efficiency of your system, so depending on how dirty it was, you may notice a temperature difference when you clean your filter. You can try other solutions if your AC isn’t blowing as cold as it used to. You can call in a local HVAC tech to make sure everything is running correctly, fix your air seal if it’s a window unit, and clean your coils.
