"All Fuel saved the day! I took my stovepipe apart to clean it and did not realize that the top flange slips down the pipe. I thought that I had pushed the pipe up through the ceiling support box! Had a roofer out who assessed from topside and told me it looked good up there. I called around to other businesses and they “required” a tier 2 inspection for a cost of $359 and additional charge to come back out. All Fuel had me send photos and advised me that the pipe was fine and that I just needed to pull the end of the pipe upward to reconnect! Free of charge! They are reputable and honest and empathetic. I will use them for ANY AND ALL NEEDS! You can trust them. Thank you All Fuel!! Customer service 10 Star"

Murphy's Fireplace & Stove Inc. was started in 2000 when Paul Sanders saw there was a need for a certified and fully trained chimney service company in the Willamette Valley area. You never have to worry if the person that is entering your home and servicing your vent system or repairing your fireplace is trained and certified, because we guarantee it! Murphy's never uses subcontractors for our projects and is able to handle all of your home & hearth needs. Satisfaction Guaranteed CCB: 206435
"Hired them to repair a chimney, $3500+ later and the chimney may be fixed (not sure as I don't know how to evaluate it) but my roof now leaks. Has been more than 12 calls (over more than 6 weeks) with the owner later and they begurdginingly came out and said they took care of it. Turns out they had forgotten at least 2 steps of the process- flashing and water sealing, they then said it took care of it. Last night we had the first major storm since and my ceiling leaks again. They have yet to repair the interior ceiling damage and water damage between the first and 2nd floor. -To clarify it never leaked before and is the area right up against the fire place. No doubt where it started."

If I can't fix it, I don't charge. When I service a direct vent gas fireplace, 80-90% of my service does not require parts replacement, just a bit of expertise in cleaning and adjusting and knowing when to replace a part and when not to. I also install wood stoves and inserts, install and service freestanding gas stoves, inserts and built-in fireplace, install and service firepits and BBQs. I can extend and install gas lines indoors or out and underground. Cold, windy, rainy days still ahead, if you enjoy a warm cozy and romantic evening with your spouse in front of the fire, but it's not working or looking so good.... call me! I will come out and inspect, clean and adjust it so it's warm and cozy I have been in the industry for over 20 years and now own and operate my own fireplace business.

"The whole experience started off well we need a fireplace that was leaning falling removed. James suggested that we put in a wood stove that?s what we agreed upon this job came out to around $20,000. He did not come prepared with his own tools. He told us that it would take a weeks time it took multiple weeks time we reached out to him on January 22 of 2025 and here We are May 6 of 2025. We still have not got our inspection. He stated that we could call for it, but we had paid him for it on top of that he got the permits from the county instead of the city. The work that he did was not the work that we had discussed. He told us that he would have a general contractor come in to close the house up inside it he did not. He had one of his workers do it. The work is Shawty. The guy did the best job he could. James does not work well with his employees or his co-owners. This whole experience has been horrible."
