"Our home was built in 1947 and it was time for a complete kitchen remodel. After meeting and interviewing several contractors I decided to go with Alex Freddi construction. This was our first major remodel project and needless to say I was very nervous and anxious regarding the process. I wanted to make sure that I did my due diligence. Alex was very communicative, understanding and responsive to all my questions and concerns. All was spelled out in the contract and any additional questions or issues were addressed promptly. Our kitchen remodel started in early February 2021 and was completed in March 2021. The whole crew was amazing and kept us informed at every step. Alex works with several interior designers and we worked with Jennifer Roos. Jennifer was amazing. I had never worked with an interior designer and Jennifer made all the design decisions an easy process, especially during covid-19. Everyone followed covid-19 protocols while working in our home and we felt very safe. Another issue that Alex informed us about was ordering all if our new cabinetry and appliances well in advance if needing them for the project, due to supply shortages caused by the global covid-19 pandemic. We followed that advice and subsequently the remodel was able to proceed smoothly with no delays. We were very pleased with with the outcome. So much so that Alex is doing a bathroom remodel for us this summer."

"I first hired (Amadou) Lo’s Contracting (2021)because I saw his crew doing a great job on a neighbor’s home, and he also did a great job for us doing house painting, garage door replacement and dry rot repair, This second time I hired them (2024), they did a fantastic job for us! The enclosed our back porch to make a beautiful, insulated sunroom, a small deck and a wheelchair ramp. As an added bonus they extended our upper deck to cover the small deck. I highly recommend this hard-working team of excellent carpenters and designers. The were always very professional and prompt"

"Stan and his crew did a beautiful, thorough, clean and detailed job rebuilding our 14x30 ft deck. He walked us through the whole process in buying trek, what to look out for and he did such a great job that my neighbors across the street hired him for their deck. Stan has done so many projects around our house (remodeled bathroom, replaced door wall, front door, replaced some of our siding and so much more) and we’ve been so pleased with everything he’s touched, it’s a no brained we let him do our deck too. You’ll never be disappointed. He doesn’t change the price on you mid project and he’s very reliable and always finishes when he says he will."

"I found R3J Residential Services through Angie’s List. Ron, the owner, was very prompt in scheduling a meeting to determine the scope of work and providing an estimate for that work - a master bathroom remodeling project. The project was comprised primarily of replacing our fiberglass shower with a tile- enclosed shower with a glass wall and door; replacing the flooring with luxury vinyl planks; replacing our built-in jetted tub with a standalone tub; replacing our double sink vanity cabinet; and replacing the toilet, mirror, and the light fixtures. His estimate was very reasonable and significantly less than an estimate we received from a design/build firm. To be fair to the design/build firm, Ron does not provide design services, but he can refer you to an interior designer he has worked with and he can also offer suggestions based on his experience in bathroom remodeling. Ron was very patient with us as we asked him a lot of questions about the remodel and design options, even before making a decision to hire him. Ron is cost conscious, but not to the point where he would use poor quality materials and products. He is willing to use more expensive materials if the client wants to spend that additional amount, but I found that the quality of the products and materials he uses to be of very high quality. After reading the reviews for R3J Residential Services on Angie’s List, which were all A’s, and meeting with Ron several times to discuss options and the finer details involved in a remodel, we decided to hire Ron to remodel our master bathroom. Ron was one of the best, if not the best, contractor we have ever had on any of our home projects. The quality of his work and professionalism is excellent. He gave us a schedule of when every major task was going to be done and he met that schedule. He was prompt in showing up at our house, cleaned up the work area every day, was very communicative as to what was going to be done and when it was going to be done, and very easy to talk to about the various aspects of the project. I also found him to be very trustworthy in our house. All of his subcontractors did excellent work. While all of the subs did excellent work, I want to mention that that the guy that tiled the shower turned our shower into a piece of art; it was that good. The quartz countertop installation was also excellent; I could not have asked for a better installation. I think the reason everything turned out so well was because Ron maintains a very high standard of work and hires subs that meet his high standard. I would hire Ron again in a heartbeat should I have any future home projects. I would strongly recommend R3J Residential Services for any home project."

"Let me start by saying, this ADU project was for my daughter, Macy. Macy has I/DD and Autism and will likely not be able to live away from us, her parents, unless she is in assisted living of some sort. However, together with her grandma we sought to create an environment for her to live as independently as possible and for her to grow into. This began our search for the perfect contractor who would understand our needs and work with us to build this ADU for Macy. Enter, Jay Bemis with Timeless Builders. We hired John Wood of JAW Construction to transform a building shell originally intended to be a shop for building trusses into a small house (officially an auxiliary dwelling unit or ADU) and are thrilled we found him. The job required skills that extended beyond new construction to include the insight, skill and craftsmanship of a highly experienced remodeling expert. He possessed these in spades. Beyond his own expertise, he has assembled a set of sub-contractors that are excellent craftsmen in their own areas of expertise. The job was doubly challenging given that for much of the construction period we were out of state getting our old home ready for sale. This also meant that an extra element of trust was involved. John sent us pictures of the progress, so that we could monitor from a distance. In addition, he was able to identify and rectify several flaws in our design. As with any large construction/remodeling project, there were some unexpected expenses that came up, but John worked with us to help limit cost overruns, sometimes foregoing profits. He was also always up front about the costs of the various components. Our new home is gorgeous and reflects his sharp eye for detail. We couldn’t be happier.
