After a very sour experience with an unresponsive and unreliable contractor, Tibor and his team were just the very opposite, timely, organized, responsive, and just a great partner all around. Remodeling work can be very stressing, working with this company took so much of that stress away just by virtue of the obvious experience and professionalism in every aspect of the process. What started as a month long frustrating experience, became a 3-day stress-free project to completion, nothing but gratitude and admiration for Tibor, Justin, Eddy, and (Last person’s name escapes me, sorry!) and Creative Tile, already looking to hire them again for the next project.

This project went very smoothly. Scope of work included porcelain wall (including shower) and natural slate floor tile. Tibor's price was not the lowest, but turned out to be very good value for the money. The crew took care of our house, covering the floors and removing all trash. The quality of work exceeded my expectations, and I would recommend CTR to anyone.

Tibor was amazing to work with. He was always responsive to text messages (my preferred communication). The sub-contractors he had did a great job and Tibor continued good oversight the entire project. We had some additional work added compared to the original quote due to finding unknown items once opening some of the walls, etc. Even with the additions Tibor did great in maintaining the work flow to continue making progress towards completion. I highly recommend Creative Tile & Remodel to do great work.

Tibor and his son Norbi did a great job handling my master bathroom remodel. Their crew was always on time and cleaned up after their job. His quote was also significantly less than most of the other remodelers. After the job, there was a small problem with the tiled shower drain. But Tibor took care of it quickly.

We first met Tibor to get a quote on replacing our old small bathroom shower, the floor and two other room floors. He was on time, asked good questions, took our feedback and walked us through the process. We found his bid to be reasonable ultimately decided to sign the contract with him. I have used Angie's list contractors before and ultimately find when working with contractors, there are misunderstandings, surprise additional costs etc... not with Tibor. He made himself available throughout the entire process and ensured everything went smooth. I have no complaints and was actually quite impressed how helpful he and his son were when things did come up and how we addressed them together. Whenever there was something that required any cost or schedule impact, we were consulted. The result is a beautiful tile shower/floors, refreshed bathroom, and very happy customers. We will consider his business again for our next project.

The started on time, were super friendly, and always communicated progress. This was the first shower i have designed, and they were super helpful with some of the finishing touches. Just note that you will be responsible for purchasing your own tile, hardware, etc. They will pick it up and bring it to the house, but you need to go to the distributor to select and make the purchase. I personally preferred this approach, as I received the contractor discount, but didn't have to go back and forth with the contractor.

Tibor and his crew and subcontractors were all very professional and did great work. The old bathroom was stripped to almost all the studs with a wall being removed, the fiberglass shower was replaced with a tiled & glass walled shower with a tile floor. The bathroom flooring was replaced with tile flooring. A toilet and vanity were installed. All the plumbing was done. The electrical in the removed wall was changed to a new location. We are very pleased with the results and love our new bathroom!

Overall, the quality of the tile work was good. Few delays because of the company’s other bookings—though wasn’t a deal breaker. A few issues: damage to existing tub, various cracks in the grouting, and installation that precluded the normal operation of the hot water shut-off valve. I finished the grouting that was incomplete. I tried to have the company return to remove a small piece of wood which they had installed for backerboard—that was inhibiting the function of the hot water valve. I left messages and the company refused to return my calls and never fixed the issue. Most bothersome however is the damage they caused to the existing tub by not protecting it during the demolition of the previous tile. Not only did they allow the old tile to simply fall into the quite new tub, they also stepped on it causing significant scratches throughout the tub. Unfortunately, I did not realize the extent of damage until after I had settled the payment to the company. They did decent work though their attention to detail and customer service is certainly lacking. Would NOT recommend.

This is the second time I have used Creative Tile and Remodel - the first being a kitchen remodel - and they did an excellent job then and they did another excellent job this timeon my bathroom. We had a tub replaced with a walk-in shower with glass barn doors and the finished work is top notch. Norby is fantastic to work with and never got annoyed with my many questions I had about the process. Drywallers were top notch as was Sam the electrician. Tibor’s Subs really do great work and they always cleaned up after themselves. As with any remodel project sometimes the house expected can happen but Tibor ALWAYS will do his best to correct any mistakes or work with you on last minute changes. Bottom line is Tibor and his crew do excellent work, are easy to work with and take pride in and heir work. I highly recommend this company and will not hesitate to use them again in the future. Poor communication overall. Quality of work was good but expect to do most of the planning purchasing products,including hardware, tile, grout, etc. work yourself and expect long delays.

"Thank you for the opportunity to work on your project . I am quite surprised on your comments , however I would like to respond . When we get together to move forward with the project ( as I always do ) we went over the proposed project , about your expectations and what we had to do in order to complete the job . I have outlined in my proposal the most important items ( in highlighted letters and you signed off on it ) which is to have all material on the job site at the beginning at the project . The scope of the work changed , designer get involved , she ordered materials which no longer was available , I had to go after some of the plumbing fixtures , cabinet decisions wasn't ready , changes was made , vacations interrupted the project . I am not sure how you expect to have a seamless job when most of your part wasn't done on time . Every time we changes thinks I had to reschedule the subcontractors one by one . It was very clear from the beginning and outlined in our agreement that the tile , grout , plumbing fixtures etc. are your responsibility ( I passed on my savings to you ! on the materials ) and we are both agreed on those . The bottom line is and thank you for the opportunity to work on your project . I am pleased that you are happy with the end result . Just wanted to correct the fact . We have most of our project go smooth , but delays can happened when multiply trades are involved . Went extremely well and we would highly recommend Creative Tile & Remodel for bathroom remodeling services. Tibor is very responsive and friendly. He was always available to answer any questions or address any concerns that we had throughout the process. The crew were extremely professional and always arrived on time. Specifically, Justin who worked on our project, took extra care in making sure our house remain cleaned and his tiling job was amazing.

Just finished a shower remodel in our master bath with Tibor Lakatos and his team. From start to finish, Tibor and his crew were exceptional! Tibor handled all the scheduling of the workmen and communicated promptly letting me know when to expect each team. Every group from the demolition team to the tile layers to plumbers to glass door installers were on time and professional. Since our tile choice required some matching of patterns, the team spent extra time assembling the tiles. What a magnificent job they did! I can’t say enough about my experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone with projects large or small!

It went very well. It has been over a year now and the grout still looks fantastic. No signs of leaking into the TV room on the main floor and I was able to confidently patch the ceiling without worrying about continued seepage.

First of all, Tibor responded very quickly when we first called about getting an estimate for the work. He made an appointment and showed up right on time. (This was not our experience with other contractors we called.) He listened to what we wanted, made good suggestions and provided a detailed estimate for the work within a day or two. He responded quickly when we asked for some changes in the scope of the work. Once we settled on exactly what was to be done, he set up a time frame for start through completion - which he adhered to. This project involved multiple sub-contractors over the course of 3.5 weeks. Everyone was very professional and did a wonderful job. Special thanks to Justin, who took such care to be sure the tiling job was perfect. I am happy to highly recommend Creative Tile & Remodel and would certainly hire them for any future projects in my home.

The tile work in the shower is absolutely beautiful. 10 out of 10 would use them again for tile work. The tile setter was very personable and worked with me on layout and design as we went along. All grout lines are exceptionally straight and consistent in size. The sliced pebble flooring was done very well also. The sheetrock work was very good too. My remodel job was not easy to complete because of how much old sheetrock was left and needed to be incorporated with the areas of new construction. There were also a lot of areas where wood paneling had been glued to the sheetrock. In these areas that I wasn't able to easily remove the damaged sheetrock they were able to make it look new again. The sheetrock crew was very personable and willing to work with me as we went. I would use them on any of my sheetrock work for future projects.

Slow start but the pace picked up after the first 2 weeks. Excellent attention to detail, all questions answered in a timely and responsive manner. Norby (the tiler) did an excellent job and is a real craftsman. The tiling was more difficult than normal since I wanted the shower wall tiles to reach the sloped ceiling, but he was able to neatly lay the tiles due to a lot of arranging and precise cutting..

Creative tile did an amazing job. They removed our old fiberglass shower and replaced it with a beautiful tile work of art. We are thrilled. They far exceeded all of our expectations. They were responsive, professional, skilled craftsmen. Tibor is friendly, honest and did everything he said he would do. I'm generally skeptical and critical but, I can't think of anything negative to say. A+++++++++.

A total remodel project, within the existing kitchen footprint (no expansion). Tibor and crew did an excellent job and very professional. High quality. Kitchen looks great! The project took twice as long as planned, due to some of the specialty work and contractor delays. Tibor did what he could, and was responsive to my calls, but it required more communication and patience than I thought it would. Overall, we are very happy with the quality of work and final product. Would do business again.

We had prepared the walls with cement board and red guard already, but Tibor's crew were not happy with the levelness of the walls. They took extra time to float the walls to get them so they were perfectly level. His crew also worked with me to change out some of the tiles I had already purchased with ones that would look more aesthetically pleasing. All in all, the finished product looks better than I had hoped and the price was very reasonable.
