"Extremely satisfied! I highly recommend Eklund Duct Cleaning. I had a lot of damage and wood rot on my chimney. They replaced the wood and restored my chimney. Looks great and it feels safe to use my fireplace again. Very affordable!"

"My Chimney leaked water into my fireplace when it would rain. I live in a very old brick home and with time my chimney began to have mortar issues and the mortar needed to be repaired. Baxter Stone & Brick Repair Co. did an excellent job! They were here on time, worked very hard all day, were very nice people, cleaned everything up when they were done. It has rained since the repair and my fireplace has remained dry !!! These guys were great and I am very pleased!"

"Very well. It was very obvious Chris took pride in his work and wanted the job done right. While he was working inside the house, every so often he would check on his helper that was working outside to make sure things were done right. I would like to mention that his helpers name was a young man named Alex. I could tell that like Chris, Alex wanted to do a great job too and did. The second day here Chris and Brian came to finish the job. Again great work by both of these men."

"Doug called within minutes of me requesting a professional. He said he could be there the next morning. Doug call that morning to inform me he was running about 2 hours behind. I appreciated the call. The tech cleaned the fireplace, polite, cleaned the area of his work and fast. Explained the minor problem and showed me how to operate the fireplace. Tech was there about 15 mins. This company but was a bit high in cost that's why I put 4 stars, but overall I would recommend this company."

"We have Frontpoint at two houses. We had been looking for ways to cut our monthly expenses (Frontpoint is approx. $100 per month total), so I called them to find out what I could do. They informed me that I was under contract for another year, and that I cannot get out of the contract without an early termination fee that is equal to the cost of the service. I'm a little disappointed, because the upfront cost of the system was very expensive ($1,000+) for each house, so it seems odd that I would get sucked into this contract. Nevertheless, I forgot that I signed up for this with them. My calendar is marked for the day that my service ends, and I will be switching to a company that charges about half of what they do. They have OK customer service and are very responsive, but the wireless system had some issues with reception in my house due to a fireplace, and then they didn't want to work with me to get that resolved. They're OK, but I can't really recommend them."

Fireplaces questions, answered by experts

Schedule your annual gas log service in late summer to avoid the rush of emergency heating calls during late fall. Always verify your contractor holds the required state licenses before starting work, and install carbon monoxide detectors on every level of your OK home. Check with local authorities regarding necessary permits, and coordinate any major modifications with your local gas utility provider to ensure proper line pressure.

Helpful?

Yes, a well-maintained fireplace strongly appeals to buyers in the competitive Broken Arrow real estate market. Local buyers highly value reliable backup heating sources due to the region's history of severe ice storms. Routine gas log service prevents failed buyer inspections and protects your sale price. State disclosure laws require sellers to report appliance defects, making documented professional maintenance a powerful tool for building buyer confidence.

Helpful?

You must keep the area around your gas shutoff valve completely clear for immediate access during severe weather. Because Broken Arrow experiences high winds and blowing dust, keep basic cleaning supplies ready to remove debris from the unit frequently. Additionally, maintain a dedicated folder with all your professional gas log service receipts and permits, as you need these records for insurance documentation and future resale.

Helpful?

Maintaining your fireplace provides reliable supplemental heat during severe OK winter ice storms. When power lines fail, a properly functioning system offers crucial warmth independent of the electrical grid. Regular gas log service also prevents moisture buildup in the firebox during humid spring and fall months, which protects your indoor air quality. Servicing the system ensures it remains a dependable comfort feature year-round.

Helpful?

As a new homeowner in Broken Arrow, prioritize a professional inspection of your fireplace before your first use. Original systems in older homes require immediate evaluation. Locate and test your gas shutoff valve right away, as this is a critical safety step during tornado season. Always hire a licensed professional for gas log service to ensure your system meets local fire codes and operates safely.
