"Adam from Neatnics has previously done work for me in the past. He explains to ensure I understand how the work is being done; gives me pricing options when replacement parts have to be purchased; and provides a detailed invoice of how the charges of my project were totaled. I will definitely call on Neatnics for future home repair needs."

"The job went very well. The person that I spoke to in the office, John, was very knowledgeable, reasonable and helpful. I inadvertently sent the deposit to the wrong address. John didn't complain or change our scheduled install date. When I needed to delay the install (wasn't able to prep the site in time), he accepted it without any complaint. They built the shed on time, and didn't let recent rains affect our spot on the schedule. The builder Bob, was very pleasant and did a quick and professional job. Both Bob and John did a great job and were quite professional: they returned phone calls quickly. So, I do recommend this company."

"Superb! I can't speak highly enough about the quality work and honest pricing Jim and his team does. Jim goes above and beyond. Not only did he fix and complete remodel of 2 bathrooms that was originally botched by a shady contractor that I had to fire, he hauled away the junk that was sitting in my garage from the shady contractor for weeks and cleaned and organized my entire garage in the process! Your search for a contractor stops here with Jim Callahan!"

Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

A simple A-frame chicken coop can take as little as three hours to build, but a more substantial all-in-one coop to house a large flock can take four or five days to build. Consult a local handyperson or custom coop builder for a time estimate based on the specific details of your project.

The most significant expense when building a barndominium is constructing the metal shell, which includes the roof, doors, and windows. Additional exterior components impacting the overall cost include metal siding and the concrete foundation.

Building a treehouse can vary in difficulty depending on factors such as design complexity, size, and the builder’s woodworking experience. Basic treehouses with simple designs can be manageable for DIYers with some carpentry skills, while more elaborate structures may pose challenges. Adequate planning, research, and careful execution can make the process more manageable, and resources like premade plans or professional assistance are always available for additional support.

Whether it is better to buy or build a chicken coop depends on your priorities, primarily cost versus time and effort. Building your own chicken coop can be significantly more budget-friendly, often costing about half as much as buying a pre-made one. If you have the time and skills, building a coop from scratch is the most economical option. However, if your time or skills are limited, buying a kit and hiring a handyperson to assemble it can be more cost-effective than hiring a carpenter to build a custom coop from scratch. If you want a perfectly constructed coop without sacrificing your own time and energy, buying one is the easiest choice.

Technically, most states allow tiny homes, but it depends on the definition of tiny and whether the structure is permanent. Zoning laws regarding home size and construction are significant factors. For instance, a tiny home may be legal as a recreational vehicle in most areas, but you may only install it on a property if it complies with building and zoning codes.
