"A little confusion with billing but we got it figured out. A little more expensive than I thought it should be. Good customer service, quick professional installation. I would buy from them again."

Im currently working at a nail salon i been a manicurist for over twenty years im honestly looking to get into fixing and remodeling small projects around the house. i could do mostly anything a little electric like installing tv changing out old outlets, laying tile on floors, some plumbing repairs. Im really trying to venture out so I could have more freedom and more time with my kids. Im honest and trustworthy and professional

"Contractor team led by Bobby tore out my existing tile shower, re-waterproofed the space, then tiled and grouted a new complex tile arrangement. While the shower did go in successfully, I had the following issues: 1) They damaged (broke) some of the floor tile, which I discovered after final payment. They offered to replace it if I can find the proper tile. neither the contractor nor I were able to find a matching tile therefore I elected to leave this broken. 2) They reinstalled the shower controls and head incorrectly so only the overhead flow works, but not the handheld which should be able to be toggled to. Lost pieces of the shower. And so there was like a flow control feature, that wouldn't work. We reach out to the manufacturer and thought they knew which part was based on like the video we sent them and they sent us that part and didn't work because I ended up having to buy an entirely new shower which cost me like 300/350 and I put it up myself. The contractor like did offer to pay for it but like ultimately I decided just like it was fine, 3) At each stage they asked me to go hunt for tile and/or accompanying products. Overall they got the job done, but it wasn’t great work and I’m going to have to pay another pro to fix some of the things that these guys did. Overall they got the job done . And took some extra time to remediate . Issues. They were very communicative and worked with me to remediate the problems. That were reasonable to fix. And therefore I consider working this contractor again."

"I was charged $25 additional for the distance of my residence from Dave's home.  He sprayed the gutters out, but left some mess on the lawn.  He was timely, and arrived when he said he would.

"Working with Sweet It's Fixed was a great experience. Once they started the work stayed diligent and fast paced. Other companies told us our job could take up words of 2 weeks (extra labor for them) and Sweet It's Fixed had the job done well within a week. The guys were clean, professional, and very respectful when they were working in our home. Good honest work and a fair price! Can't get better than that, I definitely will be using these guys again!"

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Flooring transition strips can be secured to the subfloor using glue, nails, or screws. For a more secure installation, especially in high-traffic areas, using screws or nails is recommended as it reduces the risk of slippage. However, if aesthetic appeal is a priority, glue provides a cleaner, more seamless finish without any visible holes or screw heads.

DIY is possible for small projects. Professional services ensure precision and long-lasting results.

Impact, water infiltration, or shifting subfloors often cause damage. Regular inspections help prevent significant issues.

Yes, you can tile over existing shower tiles, but it's better to remove the old tiles first for the best results. Tiling over existing tiles requires a clean, level surface and proper adhesion. If the old tiles are in good condition, you can roughen the surface to improve adhesion. However, removing the old tiles ensures a smoother, longer-lasting finish and prevents potential issues down the line.

Yes, but you’ll have to use some other type of tool to avoid damaging the tile and possibly injuring yourself. Some alternatives to tile cutters include a glass cutter, angle grinder, and wet saw. Depending on the tile material, you might simply be able to measure and score it with something sharp, like a carbide-tipped pencil, and break it off. Be sure to sand the edge for a smooth installation.
