"Worst moving experience ever! They damaged two door frames and scratched the wooden steps at the old house. Our boxes were poorly packed and many items were damaged when we unpacked at the new house. They broke two items and hid them in the trash. A brand new set of tools still in the box from purchasing it at the store arrived empty. The claims process involves a rude lady who asks you to send things and then tells you it’s not right even though you did just what she asked. She also told me not to call or email her about my claim for 6 months while they make a decision. Basically, they will damage your things, steal them and then stall when you ask them to make it right."

"In spite of numerous negative reviews about Move Quick, Inc., I opted to hire this company for my move from West Virginia to Los Angeles. I spoke to Phillip, the manager/owner, who convinced me that the posted complaints had been resolved and were exaggerations. However, I, too, was subjected to an exaggerated low bid in order to snag my business. I, too, experience problems with the pick up and the delivery dates. The movers were a day late in arriving, then quoted me a 67% increase in price, from $3,100 to $5,200. BUT I was stuck. The company already had my deposit money. Also, I was charged for one flight of stairs and an exaggerated inaccurate measurement of my front door to the truck. I had been told there was no fee for one flight. I had provided exact measurements for the items in my two rooms of furniture. True, I had 51 boxes instead of 40 but that did not warrant such an increase in price, 67% almost $2,000. Delivery was also problematic. I had told Move Quick, Inc. that I would be at my new home 25 days after the pick up, October 30, 2019. That should have been more than enough time for any truck to drive cross country. They made me wait until December 4, 2020, a total of 25 days to drive 2,400 miles. I made the drive solo in 5 days. Communication with the company once they have your money is near to impossible. It took threats and 6 days for Philip to respond. He then provided an insignificant $75 discount. My recommendation: go with a larger company than can provide an accurate estimate and deliver within a reasonable time. Also, use a company that uses the industry standard of moving cost based on the weight of your items. Don’t let Phillip tell you his method of charging based on volume is better. No one else does this, for a reason. Other estimates I had received were in the $3,700 range.I should have Booked Elsewhere!”"

"Received quote and paid $2429.90 deposit. 1 week before scheduled pickup, they called and re-assessed the number of items in the house and bumped up the estimate by $4149. I cancelled the service because I had donated 25% of my house to charity and there were less items to move. However, they did not return my deposit of $2429.90 because they said that I did not cancel in time. They have pulled the bait and switch routine on others (B&B complaints). I would not advise anyone to use them for your moving services !!"

"This is, hands down, the worst company I have ever dealt with. I hired Hardbody Haulers to move my company from Lakewood Ohio to a storage place in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday 9/28/24. They were sulky and complaining. I could deal with that. But, on the way out of the storage place (Just Storage in Lakewood, Ohio) they apparently side-swiped a car not associated with us. Just Storage contacted me asking for their info and I gave their phone number, figuring that they and the person they hit would work things out. When I asked for the receipt at Just Storage, they promised to email it me. But, when I emailed them for it, they said (and I quote) "I'll send it once I get an apology for you falsely accusing us of hitting a vehicle at the storage locker. Until then, I'm not sending anything." This is entirely unacceptable behavior. I have been in multiple email exchanges with them, to no avail. They are convinced it's my fault, and there's nothing I can do to convince them of the truth. I still do not have the receipt I need to get reimbursed from my company. Do not, under any circumstances hire this terrible company. Check out their Yelp reviews for even more awful, unprofessional behavior."
