George worked on our piano for a long time to get the piano in tune. The piano sounded like a new instrument when he was done with it. George is clearly an expert in his field, very reasonable, a pleasure to deal with it, and he plays wonderfully too!

George takes his time, thorough, precise, professional. piano sounded absolutely gorgeous when he was done. In the beginning it was a little bright and irritating but now it is wonderful.

The piano was old and the last tuning was a long time before. There were several issues due to lack of maintenance, each was described by George and explained as to its importance. George always asked if what was needed to be done was approved by me and he always told me the cost up front. George eventually spent 8. Hours over 2 days on the weekend to complete the work at a very reasonable cost. He takes pride in his work and even played a tune for us so we could appreciate how well the piano sounded. George is a true professional and I recommend him without reservation for tuning and repairing pianos.

Tuned piano and small pedal adjustment

George was remarkable. He revamped a piano that I didn't think was possible to fix that has been on our family for 70 years. It plays beautifully now. It was a much bigger job than he thought and took more time and parts than initiallythought, but he did not ask for additional money. His kind of skill, integrity, professionalism, and care are rare these days. A breath of fresh air.

George is excellent. My piano was in disarray. He brought it back to life with his expertise. He kept me informed as he worked on it and made sure I was ok with the increase in cost. When he finished, he made recommendations for future care. Good communication before, during and after. Will hire again.

George knows his stuff!!! My piano has never sounded so good

Mr. Knotek repaired and tuned my grandmother's piano that had not been tuned since 1972 - moved several times and in poor condition. He took his time, repaired all of the keys, put the piano back together and then spent 7 1/2 hours tuning it so it would sound as good as when I last remember my grandmother playing it. He did an outstanding job and I plan to have him back in 6 months to have it tuned again.

I had my piano tuned on a Saturday morning in mid September. The gentleman who came to the house was extremely knowledgeable and very articulate. Well versed in the tuning of my piano. Kindly, he was. If you're seeking a piano tuner, he'd be the one.

George is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his field. He played a beautiful song for us when he was done and we could have listend for hours. I am now highly motivated to practice. : ) I would highly recommend George and will use him in the future.

George is a pleasant man who stayed in touch to let me know he would be arriving nearly an hour late. Fortunately, it was not a teaching day for me, so with a bit of rearranging, I was still able to have him come. He spent an appropriate amount of time on each of my two pianos. They were nicely in tune when he finished, although one unison slipped later that day. He let me know some further work that could be done on one of my pianos, and said he would send a detailed description with an estimate. He is knowledgeable and has a good ear. I would recommend him.

Superb work. We were gifted a Steinway Model M Studio Grand Piano, but it was not in the best shape. George came over and assessed the piano, thoroughly explained the work he would have to do on it, and provided a detailed estimate. He also showed us pictures of work he had done on other pianos. He took care of making arrangements to get the piano to his workshop and bring it back. The whole process was very smooth. When the piano was returned, it in beautiful shape. George had completely repaired the mechanical aspects of the piano, but he also refinished the piano wood, which had been previously pockmarked with scratches and damaged. Also worth noting...while George was working on the piano in his workshop, he saw that components of the piano showed evidence of heavy moth damage that he did not see when he made his original estimate. Consequently, the repairs took longer and were more extensive than what he had planned for. It's a testament to his work and business ethics that George did not budge from his original estimate and increase the cost, despite the fact that he had clearly spent extra hours and done extra work. We would definitely hire him again, and plan to use him for all of out general piano tuning and maintenance needs.

George was amazing. He spent a great deal of time explaining the issues with my piano and was prompt and flexible regarding getting the repairs done. He made recommendations on the next time I would have to have my piano serviced and where I could get lessons. He educated me regarding my instrument and I could tell that he was passionate about his job. I would recommend him to anyone who wants their piano serviced and is interested in learning more about the music industry in general.

George was very good and the price was extremely reasonable--much less than I expected to pay for excellent service. I will be contacting him again for regular tuning and maintenance.

Our piano had not been tuned in who knows how long. George determined right away that this was going to be a heck of a project for him. I already had figured that out before I called him. Anyway, George was totally professional, and set to work right away. Our piano sounded awful, and when he was tuning it, it was abundantly clear how bad we let it get. It ended up taking two times up and down the scale, and about 2 hours, for the piano to be tuned. The piano sounds 1000% better in my opinion. I would recommend George to anyone who needs their piano tuned. He was courteous, professional, and explained what he thought needed to be done before he started, and continued to explain as he dug into the project, and kept finding more stuff. He didn't make us feel bad about how much we had mistreated this musical instrument, he just went ahead and did the best that he could do to fix the problems. We will have George back out in 6 months to re-tune our piano, and then yearly after that. Georges rates were very reasonable also. The whole project only cost $165 + tax I thought this was well worth it, considering how bad it sounded before, and how good it sounds now. Thanks George, we appreciate all your hard work.

George was the only piano tuner to call me back after I submitted a request for services to more than 5 companies. He was punctual, focused, and incredibly educated on pianos and piano tuning. I learned a lot from him in the short time he was here, and would highly recommend him for any piano tuning/repair job. He did superb work, and is very professional!
